Parts of the "test" are also rough conditions like back-to-back and seeing how your starters are just flat and still try to find a way to make the best out of it. Gentry was slow to react and let Barnes and Nash in for too long.

It is easy to play coach without all the facts, give Gentry some credits men. The Suns have always sucked on back-to-backs and playing two quality teams is not going to be an easier task.

I will agree with that. Barnes looked awful tonight, especially in the first quarter. The thing that frustrates me with Matt is that I think he steps outside of his bounds offensively at times. Matt needs to understand that when playing with the starting lineup he is our fifth best offensive player on the floor, or in other words...the worst. Now I am not saying that he should pass up open looks when they are there, but there are times when he tries to do too much when he has Grant, Steve, Shaq, and J-Rich all on the floor.

Usually I would be understanding of Gentry leaving Barnes in, but he was so overmatched trying to guard Aldridge that it was killing us on both ends of the floor. It just seemed to me like Lou, Swift, and Dudley were all better options after about the first four minutes.

Stevie was awful tonight, but it's hard to go away from the heart and soul of your team when he is struggling. We have seen Steve play terrible in the first half and then play incredible in the second. Same with Matt.

We just had a bad night all together and I don't know if perfect coaching would have changed to outcome.

It wouldn't have. Had the Suns won, would that make McMillan a bad coach? Someone has to lose.

Barnes was not to blame that coach let, or Blazers allowed, him and Nash play P&R repeatedly ending up with Barnes clanking everything. Even if we put Barnes in there to boost his confidence, we still need to try to hide him from shooting the J a bit when it was clearly not working but for some reason Gentry still wanted him there.

Also, when the bench was in, it'd be better to put JRich and Hill in there to stabilize the offense when Dragic was given no room to do too much. We needed some of the one-on-one scoring from these starters to carry us. No such thing either.

Did anyone see Shaq get after Lopez on the sideline and then Lopez got pissed and screamed back at Shaq. I was surprised Lopez yelled at Shaq. Shaq quickly put him back in his place it looks like.

Sorry that was a terrible summary of the event. Does anyone have a video of it? They highlighted it on Sports Center.

Probably told him to quit sucking ass. You should have seen the lazy effort he gave trying to get back on that lob pass.
