I said in another thread this teams biggest problems are Nash, Amare and Barnes Turnovers. The easy buckets it's giving other teams. Nash and Amare's one on one defense. Amare's one dimensional offense lately.

So your right it's not ALL on Amare but he is a MAJOR factor.

Honestly, trade Nash and Amare. Keep everyone else.

Amare's turnover is less of a problem back when he had people to pass to. His are not bad pass rather than off. foul or getting slapped away on the drives. He is not able to turn around the game like Dream or Shaq with a dominant post game, particularly not when his jumpers ain't falling.

The main problem is that the team isn't prepared for anything other than Nash dribbling and passing, besides Shaq low post. That is what dooms them right now. All the other problems are direct results from disorganization when Nash fails. NO PREPARATION FOR ALTERNATIVES!

Watch the game to get clear idea. man.

Amare got most of touches, he got the ball a lot of times and messed up the possesion.

And in the other end of the floor, watch the highlight of the game later, watch how Diaw post Amare up for a dunk, then a turnaround jumper, then a layup, then another jumper.

I watched the game. I saw him at least playing with energy. I don't need someone to tell me to watch the game, that's absurd. Maybe you watch the game, maybe, but maybe you just watch Amare and wait for him to screw up so you can say you're right. So start paying attention to the entire team, don't center your eyes on stoudemire.

Diaw: 26 points / 11 rebounds / 4 assists / 2 steals
Bell: 9 points / 8 assists / 5 rebounds / 2 steals

JRich, the guy we traded Diaw and Bell for: 8 points / 6 rebounds / 2 steals

And someone will say that Diaw would never produce those kinds of numbers playing alongside Amare.

Coincidently, Amare: 12 points / 9 rebounds / 6 turnovers

But the problem is not Amare, he is just part of it. Amare is not as good a player as he appeared to be under D'Antoni, but he is also not as bad as he appears now under Porter. The problem is we have a coach who doesn't know how to utilize the strengths of his players, and a GM who doesn't realize that.

I've thought (and argued) ever since the day of the JRich trade for Diaw+Bell that Charlotte got the better of the trade. Only today do I know it for an absolute fact.

I'd almost rather have Diaw than Amare...
Most off the diaw haters here never considered that he was not being used properly, but that is also the case with the amare haters. Funny how slow the ASFN posters are to figuring out that the coach that cant find a way to utilize the talent on his roster is also a huge issue. Maybe the suns will be a D league team before some figure out that its the coach and GM and not amare, nash bell, diaw, Barnes etc,.

At this aggressiveness, Diaw can score on anybody. And with the desolate condition the Suns are in now, you don't blame Amare for not being more aggressive on the weak part of his game.

Porter is not making guys accountable for their lack of game and mistakes. Tucker and Dudley definitely deserves more minutes than Barnes. Just bench Amare and Nash for theirs and bring Dragic and Dudley in for much better defense at least!

That's a huge misrepresentation of opinion on this board. There is a huge faction on this board that have said from day one that Porter wasn't the right choice. Ofcourse it is having an impact.

However, even a blind man can see this teams issues are bigger then just the coach.
