Just got home. Wow. I hope the Suns find some rhythm SOON.
I'm a little worried. Our players have been so hypercritical of themselves all season, but started to regain a little bit of swagger after the trade. These recent ugly losses can easily gnaw huge holes on their confidence again.
I'm not ready to give up on this team yet. I hope they aren't giving up on themselves either.

I dont need to explaing my "fandome" to anyone, I have high expectations for this team. Maybe I need to lower my expectations. This team is no better than a 6 or 7 seed
i'm right there with you.

not to damper anyone's hopes (if anyone still has any), but this team is not going to get a ring this year unless some serious improvements/changes are made

The problem is the stakes are so high right now, the margin is so razor thin, that there's hardly room for error. It's called the Western Conference. Have you taken a look at the records of the teams that are currently playoff seeds? Yeah...

You keep rationalizing the amount of time this team needs; meanwhile, the realists will keep track of the losses.

To call getting our asses handed to us in deplorable blowouts as just "losses" is understating it.

While I understand everyone is pissed off right now, try not to take it out on each other.

Wow, at the risk of being banned, I can't believe how many frigging babies are on this board. You guys whine like someone stole your toys. No better than Rocket fans. Blech.

We should be able to criticize our team. That's not being whiny babies. If you can see something wrong with the team you follow, you should be able to talk about it.

I'm by no means giving up on this team this year....I still think they will start to 'gel' and play better and we still have a shot at the ring.

I don't know that this has anything to do with "Gelling". Guys out on that court are not committed enough to bring the same effort everynight. It's a different round of different players that don't make ANY shots, play little defense.

D'antoni needs to start benching people. Barbosa scores 14 in the first half. Plays no defense and puts up 3 in the second. Bell? Where is he? Then don't play him. Simple as that.

Steve Nash? Sit him when he gives up on defense and doesnt even come back down the court after turning the ball over.

Gotta start rolling some heads!!!

I'm not worried. We just need to run more and play our game.

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot the :sarcasm:

Chris Paul is a joy to watch. I hope we draft someone like that to eventually replace Nash.

Right now I am skeptical that the Suns make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

You can't look forward to the off-season because we have no cap space (and won't for 2 more years after this one), and no tradable assets outside of a mediocre Atlanta Pick.

We made our bed with this team and now we get to lie in it.

absolutely correct. the trade put us in a "championship or bust" situation, and we are seemingly going to bust. we can't rebuild easily, and we can't win. we're a lot like miami was before we took shaq...

Yep. DA needs to be a coach to Nash and stop being a friend. Needs to bench him when he's doing bad, like in the 3rd quarter. Let Hill run the offense, atleast he gets back and guards his guy.

True fans stick by their team no matter they what they don't say we suck have no shot in the playoffs during a bad stretch it happens to every team

Oh TRUE fans...

We supposed to stick by our team by sticking our heads in the sand?? The Suns look TERRIBLE. Now they may "mesh"...they may not. This is an experimental team...we cant take anything for granted that they will gel. They better be gellin' like a felon if they want to even THINK about a title run.

I'm glad we got Shaq regardless...

#1 the Suns don't have a draft pick so forfeiting the season would be pointless.

#2. Do not try to get around the language filter. This is your last warning.

#3. You could have any coach you want but Nash, Amare, and Slaq are defensive liabilities. No coach in the world is going to change that.

Right now I am skeptical that the Suns make it out of the first round of the playoffs.

For once I agree with you, this suns era is finished. Such a squandered era, just in terms of what could have been roster wise:

the '04 draft pick (deng)
joe johnson
the '07 atl, which if we got, kevin garnett would surely be with the suns right now

so sad..

Problem is, this team only has one real PG. We go to **** even bigger with Nash out.

In a van...down by the river.
Any coach i want Chris?..........;)
Hey, seriously, the SUNS are better defensively inside now w/Shaq. How about using some energy towards double teaming at the top of the circle or an occasional trap to try to hide our woeful perimeter D?
