True fans stick by their team no matter they what they don't say we suck have no shot in the playoffs during a bad stretch it happens to every team

Dude, you have to call a spade a spade. Why do people think blind faith is a moral high ground? Because it's better than being critical and hurting someone else's feelings?

People have been venting on this forum one season after another. It's those that get angry and worked up about how this team has been ruined that care seriously about this team's future success. You think sitting around passively and taking losses makes us any better?

Every fan on this forum wants the best for this franchise. Every fan wants to see a championship. But you have to mix in a dose of reality with that optimism.

We've been getting beat by teams that run the fast break, lately. I think come play offs when there's not many fast break points anyway, we will be more competitive.

The Suns body language looked bad when they walked off the court. I hope they don't quit before the off season gets here.

I agree. We've still got to solve some glaring issues though.

One is we don't know how to incorporate Shaq into the offense that takes advantage of the shooters we have. We should be getting wide open threes when Shaq gets doubled.

Any coach i want Chris?..........;)
Hey, seriously, the SUNS are better defensively inside now w/Shaq. How about using some energy towards double teaming at the top of the circle or an occasional trap to try to hide our woeful perimeter D?

If you honestly think that the Suns are a better defensive team with Shaq then I don't know what to tell you.

In the Shaq era opposing teams are averaging 110 PPG and that is with New Orleans still having a minute left on the clock. That is up 7 PPG from before Shaq.

What I do not get is that DJ Strawberry is probably the best perimeter defender the Suns have, so why is it that D'antoni decided to leave him on the bench, thus allowing Jannero Pargo to get hot again?

Thats a pretty scary stat....

Hopefully Shaq will get more mobile and in tune with the team the longer it goes. If not, Marion wasnt taking us to the promised land so who cares.

Everybody talks about how we're still trying to "figure out" how Shaq is going to work with our offense....

Ummm...shouldn't we have done that, like, before we made the trade?

I can't stop shaking my head.

If we have to bench Steve Nash to counter Jannero Pargo then our season is over. That's probably exactly what D'Antoni is thinking.

I thought DJ would have been perfect in this type of game too.

Come back with that statement in the 2010 season when our team is really old, has no cap space, and no draft pick.

Shaquille O'neal is not the problem here. In fact, when he sits our interior and perimeter defense disappears.
The SUNS have made their bed with sacrificing Marion's defensive versatility for becoming competitive inside(for the playoffs).
Problem is...i don't see Shaq playing 40 minutes per game like Marion could.:|
