This team is just too old to play a game, travel to a different city, and play another game the next night against a good team. We can get away with it on the east coast swings against crappy teams like Milwaukee and Indiana, but it ain't gonna happen in the West.

Especially when they played short handed against the Pistons.

Some when in the 3rd I believe, Jazzs started to double Amare even off the ball, when Shaq sat. That was hilarious but we could take advantage. Damn it!

This always happens against the Jazz.

They get all the rebounds, loose balls, and all the calls.

Our guys get manhandled while they have a parade to the FT line.
It is called Utah home court advantage and on top of that the second game of a back to back.

Disappointing and frustrating but not the end of the world.

The constant gnashing of teeth and sky is falling attitude that seems to rule this board would be really depressing if it wasn't so funny.

^yeah that, and the refs were terrible! Our whole damn team almost fouled out yet they could man handle the suns with few calls, great job refs!

The small conspiracy theorist in me came out yesterday. I haven't seen the 2 shot foul for an inbound play called all season long for any team, yet they called 3 against the Suns?

I think it must have been true that grabbing onto Korver's jersey was a "point of emphasis." At least two of the out-of-bounds fouls were for that. Maybe the Jazz made a big stink about it right before the game and caught the league's attention.

Mormonville... there is a reason Utah always seems to have the best or one of the best home court records. Blatantly obvious. Things don't work the same over there. Even their coach hasn't been changed in 20+ years. It's rather quite erie...

Jerry Sloan hasn't even grown older. Something's fishy in Utah. Cults? Satanic rituals? Voodoo?!

Except that Utah does that on nearly inbounds play. It should have been called against them as well and it wasn't.

Not a big loss imo, second night of a back to back and getting screwed by the refs and it was still hard for them to pull away. Play the same game in phoenix its a different result, however would like to see how we play them with DW and Okur maybe Shaq gets less minutes since Okur would pull him out of the lane.

Whether the Jazz themselves do it wasn't part of their "point of emphasis." ;)

I hear ya. If they alert this as a point of reference, the refs should enforce the same thing to the team complaining.....

Let's see how they respond against the Lakers with a couple days rest.

Regardless of the Suns play on a back to back.....a loss simply can't be a surprise. Statistically across the league teams don't do well on back to backs. No factor in Age with this team with some of our vets? Any back to back win we get is gravy for me.
