alright, keep bitching, thats apparentely what the team did, which was why we got slapped around in OT.

It shouldn't have gone to OT, hence why game was decided by the refs.

Sit Shaq vs. the Nuggets or the T-wolves? A win versus the Nuggets is more beneficial (a two game swing) considering they are ahead of us in the standings. Bad decision.

It appears that the Suns management is content in forfeiting games against quality opponents and is willing to settle just for a split of a back-to-back set. Why bother trying to win both games if you can just put all your effort into winning the easier one? With a two-day rest, that should enable Shaq to have another one of those games that makes Kerr look like a "genius" for trading for him, but at what cost? Nash 46 minutes tonight, Hill 43, in a loss that will hurt not only in the standings but also might in tie-breakers later on.

You ALWAYS drive to the hoop in that situation- EVERY TIME. Hill did the right thing- waited for shot clock to go under 5, and was fouled. The refs just gave Nuggets this game, but Hill did nothing wrong.

Considering none of our jumpshooters, except for Nash who couldn't receive the ball because he was being manhandled by Anthony Carter, could hit ANYTHING tonight. Which jumpshooter would you have passed it to? Grant Hill saw his man back off and an open lane. He did what any intelligent basketball player would do. He saw the opening, he took it. There actually is a reason why a layup/dunk is considered a "high percentage shot".

That play angered me because not only was it a non-call, but it was an extremely dangerous (Bowen like) play. It is UNACCEPTABLE to intentionally try to injure someon in the NBA and the league needs to finally step up and start suspending these guys for that BS.

You cant just throw your feet under someone and intentionally try to trip them or have them come down on your foot to roll their ankle. That's a DIRTY play no matter how you freakin slice it.

it wasn't a dirty play at all, and Jones doesn't have a reputation for that. I agree that he intended to trip Grant. But he did it to try and commit a foul that he had a chance of getting away with, which he did. Tripping is a foul where it can seem like the offensive player fell on himself, and calls aren't made as much as they should be on plays like that. I don't believe there was any intention to hurt grant on that play. not at all.

either hill should have pulled up and nailed the mid range, or again, we should have run a pick and pop with stat. the barbosa like drive by hill was out of control, theres no way you are ever going to get that call in that situation on the road.

Who cares about size, honeslty just stop playing lopez, if we need amundson + dudley on the court at the same time playing pf and C so freakin' be it. You literally cannot do worse at the C.

if barbosa can just continue to be a good decision maker like he was before this game, i can be okay with him as backup PG. We do need to add a big to the rotation though, no doubt about that. Just someone to grab rebounds and not get humiliated on defense.

Hill gets that noncall, he makes at least one FT. That DECIDED the game. Sure the team sucked at times tonight, but that was a blantant noncall.

What a waste!

I put this loss square on Porter.
He did not recognize fast enough or not have any counter measures when Denner pressed to many turnovers and fastbreaked us to death.
Then, he stuck with Barnes for too long who hurt us more than helped later in the game.
Then, he kept Barbosa in who was cold throughout. All the while, Amare had to defend Nene with 5 fouls, which was the liability that prevented us from stopping them well enough. Lou instead LB, on Nene to move Amare to Martin, would have helped a lot.

Then, Denver cut off Nash-Amare with two on Nash and a 3rd to cover his passing path to Amare 20 times or so with success. Yet, all we did was repeating it over and over for failure! Amare got phased out completely after coming back in the 4th, and he was timid on defense. That's bad combination. We were lucky with big plays by Nash and Hill but our game plan was non existant for success!

Assistant coach Carthwright would be a better option than Lopez.

I would be fine if I just missed this game but I watched the last 5 minutes and it was horrible. Can't be blamed on just the refs, Barnes committed like 3 turnovers in a row or something can't remember, Nash made some passes where he just gave it to them pretty much, and well add that all up with the refs and you get a loss.

Did Amar'e complain after he got called for the fouls?
