The scary thing about the Suns is this....we have become the treadmill team of the NBA.
We are the team that will pick #14 every season. We won't suck enough to get a potential star player and we won't get a good enough record to have post season success.
We'll probably beat some more garbage teams, lose to some garbage teams as well and then lose most, if not all games against the good and great teams of the league.
Seems like we made some lateral moves this year by signing Thomas, Tolliver, Zoran and extending Marcus.
No one knew we were going to win as many games as we did last year. Also, it's no guarantees we would have picked a star, I mean just look at 76ers, Orlando, and Wolves(even though they didn't draft Clevelands two #1 picks).
A lot of teams have improved by making the right moves and developing players. I can't say that we've actually developed anyone yet. Other teams have their rookies and younger players producing.
It's a combination of a lot of things. Things could have been different if Joe Johnson stayed, Amare never got injured, we drafted this guy over that guy...
Where did things actually go wrong? Doesn't matter, we are in an upward trend and that shows something is going in the right direction considering how bad we were a few years ago. This team is actually watchable now.
