And the LAKERS are 4-0 and have beaten the Clippers twice, the Blazers, and the Nuggets so they haven't proven anything either right?
Lets take the JAZZ at 5-0. They've also beaten the Clipps twice, the Nuggets, the Blazers and the relocated OKC Thunder. Should we be cautious of their impressive start?
The 4-2 ROCKETS took down Memphis, Dallas,OKC & the Clippers.....wow! The ROCKETS lost to the Celtics(NBA champs) & the Trailblazers.
The SUNS are 5-2 & having just finished their first Eastern swing 3-1.

Point being, you play who you play and those teams you mentioned haven't "beaten anyone" either so to get off to this kind of start is more than just "nice" IMO.

Wow, everybody seems like beating up on the Clipps these days! When is our turn? :D

Porter giving Dragic an earful with clipboard in hand after getting beat to the rim......
Ahhh coaching. Its nice to see that Dragic isn't being babied for making dumb plays.

Poor Drajic ... he got an earful. Why doesn't Porter do that with the veterans who keep making the same mistakes over and over?

there are two sides to that paper. you could argue something like:

You can read the paper as positively or as negatively as you like. The real question is how that group of Suns compares to the 7th-11th players on other good NBA teams. I think it's pretty clear that they come up short by that yardstick. And, in case that isn't clear, all we have to do is notice that the Suns' bench gets horribly outscored in almost every game, no matter who the opponent is.

I would expect that group of five players to get crushed by an average NBDL team.

The NBDL is where a player like Singletary needs to be. I would put Dragic in that category except Porter is giving him on the job training (although I'm not sure if this is good for his confidence). I'm guessing the Suns are hoping Dragic will be ready to play a more significant role later this season. I'm hoping to see what Tucker can do once he returns from injury.

Gah, they had me on the edge of my seat early in the 4th. Overall, an entertaining game...Shaq was DOMINANT.
