This Suns team is very bad, no doubt. Barely beating the Celtics is....not good.

But what I'm really happy about is the development of our young 4. At lest 2 of of the young 4 were able to get playing time today and showed a ton of promise.

I hope the people who said that "Len has not showed anything, I don't think he'll amount to much in the NBA" etc are all eating their crow.

Haven't seen Phrazbit around since Len's emergence, coincidence? I think not.

And don't forget Markieff, 30 points, dude was en fuego, and threw in 7 boards, 5 assists, and 4 steals

What drove me crazy about the Suns is giving up the baseline for easy layups tonight. The Suns couldn't stop it until the very end.

Phrazbit is a good poster. He was posting tonight during the game. No one is eating crow. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Len's emergence is huge for any Suns fan.

Never doubted him. People kept saying he's slipping, but I still believe in him. He brings a much needed big man scoring option to this team.

You should let him know that, from the way he's been attacking BC about Bledsoe, I don't quite think he does.

A shame people aren't eating crow. I would be if I projected/predicted Len to be a bust or close to it after 1 season in which he hardly played.

Now I never said Len will be a star nor do I think that now, all I said was that we have to wait and see with him because he hadn't even been given minutes or an opportunity to play.

The fact is, everyone should be preparing to eat Thanksgiving turkey. :D

You're a flat out moron, I already posted in this thread. I've given him credit multiple times this year.

You're a wonderful fan, can't let one win sit without ripping the team and fellow posters. Maybe I should join the legions of people who have you on ignore. Either that or take a queue from your posting style and I can dig up the 50 times you've been hilariously wrong about a player.

A good team effort

Here are the top 5 in offensive stats & boards tonight.

POINTS..............REBOUNDS.........ASSISTS..

Kieff.....30..........Len.......7..........Dragic....7
Dragic...22.........Kieff......7..........Bledsoe..7
Len.......19.........Dragic...6...........Mook.....7
Bledsoe.15.........Mook.....5...........Kieff.....5
Mook....13.........Bledsoe..5...........Isaiah...4

This is probably the closest the Suns have come to maximizing their roster this season. It will be interesting to see where it leads.

Especially with Jeff giving Warren some time, especially in the 4th quarter following his D League success.

If the Suns are going to be competitive, they'll have to rotate fresh legs in and out all throughout the game.

STOKED about Len's continued development. I got no problem being dead wrong on him.

Wait, really? I went to high school with the current owner. What's happening?

Between the skyrocketing beef prices and the (huge) money offered from a developer, they've made the decision to close and sell. Tonight was their final night in business.

I thought he meant PJ's final chance to eat at Monti's before being away for ten days or so. I just introduced my daughter to it last week - re-introduced I should say since we used to go when she was a little tyke 45 years ago. Its going to be missed by a lot of people. We were going to eat there on a Friday a couple of weeks before that but it was mobbed so we found another place - I'm sure it wasn't hurting for business. I suppose the land had gotten so valuable they could make more by selling it and drawing interest on the proceeds. I'd give odds they tear it down and stick a high rise there - it is one place that ought to preserved.

I think they are doing both.

I saw some things I liked in this game. Several times both Eric and Goran were involved in a play - beyond one pitching the ball out to the other for a 3pt attempt. Some duo of our players used a give and go play, which Annie remarked on in the broadcast. IT and Markieff combined on a good pinch post maneuver, though I have little doubt it was accidental. I guess as far as diversifying our offense goes, TJ Warren getting some time was a fourth positive sign. The big question is whether Hornacek noticed these things - or even better, instigated them. (Obviously he instigated TJ being on the floor but will he see the implication that our offense needs diversification.)

My next hope is that he employs a lineup with Bled, Tucker and Warren/Marcus at 1,2,3 and notices that the team can get stops without losing much on the fastbreaks. I'm not bugged by the use of two PGs playing together but I do think the team should use our best defensive lineups a fair bit as well.

Naturally I was delighted to see Len being used heavily and contributing. And it was good to see his teammates throwing him the ball on pick & rolls some of the time. Hitting the clutch FTs was a big bonus. He still has an immense amount of room for improvement to be sure, but he is looking less and less lost. You know, I think someone predicted that would very likely happen with more playing time.

You bring up some good points. Len is only 21 so the ceiling is out of sight on him. Warren also has a huge upside. The Suns may be drafting the stars this team desperately needs.

the Len vs Noel debate is starting to swing in Len's favor. If he stays healthy the future is very bright for this team

Len's fast break dunk and TJ's clutch 3 were the best parts of the game. Who is McD gonna draft with the 6th pick? Hopefully Okafor drops to the Laker pick but Kobe isn't helping us at all right now.

When Len dribbled the ball down court for a dunk it was awesome for a big man his size. I wish someone had a replay of this. If he develops his defense he has the hole package: scoring inside, hitting the outside shot, rebounding, making FTs, and running the court.

Plumlee 0pts 1rb
Len 19pts 7rbs

Surely Plumlee gotta know his days are numbered if Len keeps playing like this.

I think you're talking about me :). Like I said before the season, big men can improve a ton from Year 1 to Year 2, especially considering what Len went through his first year. And he has, in terms of court production. For a 21 year old w/ not much NBA experience, Len's BBall IQ / Feel for the game has been solid also. Of course he was "raw" somewhat last year, but I knew a lot of his mistakes would clear up just w/ more experience, playing time, and strength. And that's what we're seeing now. He still makes mistakes, but he's been playing like a veteran more often than not.

Like I said before the season, his IQ for the game has always been solid and underrated. His sophomore year at Maryland his stats weren't amazing, but Maryland was a great rebounding/defensive team because of him and he was never given enough credit for that leading up to the draft and since.
