Most fun week or 2 of Suns basketball since... 2014 probably.

These guys are playing excellent on both ends, loving it. And with probably the youngest rotation in the league!

Igor says 34 deflections tonight. Wow.

Booker was really poor today, almost cost us the game with a lot of bad decisions.

This should tell everyone how far this team has come confidence wise. In games past if Booker had an "off" game whatsoever, they had no chance. Tonight they beat Boston in the garden with Booker having a bad 2nd half

Oubre was good in his debut, but so was Ariza. I do say the biggest problem I had with Ariza was his in ability to switch and show effort on D, Oubre D and energy is exactly what this team needs.

I would like to see a replacement for Melton in the starting line up.

In the age of absurd statistics....

Has a 4-23 team ever won 4 in a row?

Or

How many times has a team with a win% under .200 won 4 in a row?

Wizards suck, and I am sure Igor and the players are gonna want to send a message.

Sometime yes, sometimes no. They blew out the Lakers and then turned around and lost to Atlanta. That's their season in a nutshell, similar to us but they have 50% more wins than we do.

I figured Crawford would have to re-enter the game to hit a couple of key shots down the stretch but the Suns stuck with their defense.

Did I say defense. How long have Suns fans waited for this?

As has been felt over and over, Book at PG = sprint. Not marathon.
Booker had 6 turnovers and I think they all came trying to throw the into the paint. There were at least 3 more times he threw it to Holmes in a position where he was screwed.

Booker as PG is a work in progress.

Not just an anomaly either. This team has several quality defenders.

it's not 4 in a row that i'm excited about
it's the defensive chemistry
it seems to have started about 2 weeks ago when the Suns bottomed out
(the dreaded "soft" label was being openly spoken. Booker and Ayton had words)

nothing i like better in basketball than defensive chemistry
it's dependable, it's exciting, and it sparks the offense
and what a gift that Oubre fit right in

the energy our defensive minded young guys is inspiring Ayton as well

for the first time, i'll also salute Igor's performance
for giving Oubre key minutes, mixing him well with Jackson and Bridges.
and for giving Ayton more time instead of sitting him on his usual schedule

i believe the "timeline" is back!
this group should grow together very nicely

I can't believe there were posters here calling for Igor's job.

I remember reading some posts on Spurs Talk the season during and then after Dragic had that great playoff game against them and I was shocked how many fans were calling for Pop's job. Some were convinced the game had passed him by and he could no longer coach effectively in the NBA. It wasn't the consensus opinion on that forum but there was a pretty active minority trumpeting the call to fire him.

This is where fans have always wanted the Suns to be since the D'Antoni era. Finally the Suns have the players and coach to actually do this.

It tastes sweet.
