Washington is going to be a test next Sat. Have one of the twins and Ariza that want blood. Hope the young guys a up to the test. Great game against the Celtics. I'd rather play Boston without Irving then without their centers.

Ha! Ariza want blood? Nah. He doesn’t give a flip.

To me it's an established fact that Chandler and Ariza sabotaged the team and Igor - perhaps not intentionally but very effectively. I don't think Igor believed they would do that so he kept playing them and my guess is that James Jones stepped in and got rid of them. (Many thanks, James!)[/QUOTE]

Exactly what I was thinking during last nights games. Igor is learning and growing with the team and its great to see. Last nights game was huge. The way they came back and the defense.

Jones has done some very positive things for this team and Igor.

1. Signing Crawford
2. Moving Tyson (forced Holmes into the rotation)
3. Letting Canaan go (forcing Melton into the rotation)
4. Ariza for Oubre Sure looks good so far. I know its one game but he seemed to back up his words. If you combined JJ and Bridges into one player you'd have Oubre.

White Mamba just lost all credibility with the..."oh I didn't know he had that jumper" or whatever in regards to Ayton...or "oh he kind of reminds me of David Robinson"...duh. World doesn't revolved around the Celtics buddy.

Guy is a moron too when Kyrie jumped on TJ.

more like
31 posters here voting that Igor will be gone next season
compared to 14 predicting he will have some degree of success

and a small group of homers "liking" each other's defensive posts
and assuming the role of the forum's Thought Police
I think it is fair to say that every fan that posts on this site wants the best for the Suns. Never really understand the concept of calling someone a "homer" because they have some modecum of positivity.

I was thinking when I was hearing this crap "if he had watched a single highlight video of any of his college games he would have known he could do that...".

Holmes has shown he can put the ball on the floor and make a runner. Last night was tough as shots weren't falling. But other than that he does have a good touch when he's not dunking.

I never thought I'd have to ask this, but... do you guys think Booker was tired because he...played defense?
Whenever Booker is at PG it looks like he expends a lot of energy just to keep control off the ball. Opposing defenses are all trying to wear him down. He’s either gotta get in better shape or they’ve gotta come up with a different plan.

I somewhat feel this way too. Physically/athletically he's just not gifted like JJ Bridges and Oubre. Don't get me wrong he's great at figuring out how to score but sometimes the guy guarding him is just faster or stronger.

I think he just needs to get into better shape. Can't blame him for that though as it is hard to stay in good shape when you have two hamstring injuries.

How old are you? Just express your opinions in a constructive manner. Some might agree, others might not. Just like in the real world.

then just disagree.
responding to my opinion with "how old are you?" is neither tolerant, constructive, or mature

Why do we all hate each other so much? Trying to figure it out. The insulting of each other simply because of disagreements is getting out of hand. That also includes generalizing about the board as a whole as being "wrong" simply because they don't agree with your opinion.

I don't know that we hate each other. Historically, this board has always been head and shoulders above any other. Since the days of the old board, we've always had a bunch of posters who had different ideas and perspectives, but were respectful of others' opinions. There has been a very minimal number of posters who were typical message board posters, Sure, we've had therealhardaway, Andrew, etc, but for the most part, posters have been reasonable, respectful, interesting, etc.

I think those of us who have been around for 15-20 years get rather cranky when "typical" message board posters show up and either troll or are completely unreasonable. It's like we are used to certain quality of posts and posters, and when we see typical message board crap, we get cranky.

i agree. i have more than a modecum of positivity about the suns myself. that's why i watched every minute of every game this season despite the frustrations. the few homers here are fine too. 3 or 4 occasionally try to silence criticism in a bullying manner, and i call them out on it

no big deal

I don’t hate anyone in the board. There are some whose style of posting rubs me the wrong way. And there are others who I might have a dust-up with on occasional issues. But i try to read each individual post without looking at the poster to take it at face value. Often it’s obvious who’s posting what, but I still try to keep my eye in the prize. Some are jerks. Sometimes I’m sure I’m a jerk. But overall I don’t think most here the each other.

Really I think it’s the unintended consequence of the digital age. People just aren’t as nice when they don’t have to face each other as they would be in person. I see this in the workplace as well. I’ve forbidden certain people from talking to each via email because they come across arrogant and confrontational. In the phone they can work together well. But via email it becomes World War III and I have to babysit grown adults. Same effect here I believe.

I don't see any hate either. However, there has been a poster or two that complain about everything seeking to drive the forum into a gripe session.

It's not a difference of opinion (this is welcome) but the constant complaining aimed at steering other posters to do the same thing. Everyone has a right to voice their opinion but when a poster uses negativity as a strategy to get attention, it gets very old.

Also criticizing Igor for his accent was a bit much for me. I think we need to be more open minded. I'm guessing Igor probably speaks about five languages. A lot of us struggle to get English right.
