I don't see any hate either. However, there has been a poster or two that complain about everything seeking to drive the forum into a gripe session.

It's not a difference of opinion (this is welcome) but the constant complaining aimed at steering other posters to do the same thing. Everyone has a right to voice their opinion but when a poster uses negativity as a strategy to get attention, it gets very old.

Also criticizing Igor for his accent was a bit much for me. I think we need to be more open minded. I'm guessing Igor probably speaks about five languages. A lot of us struggle to get English right.
The irony for me was hearing Igor speak he was easiky understandable. Did he have an accent? Sure. Was it thick? No.

Why do we all hate each other so much? Trying to figure it out. The insulting of each other simply because of disagreements is getting out of hand. That also includes generalizing about the board as a whole as being "wrong" simply because they don't agree with your opinion.

Oh, c'mon Chap, there's not a lot of hate in here. Losing gets us all a bit testy but there's some good humor about, too. We haven't had too many of those long drawn out verbal battles, which tire everyone out.

And he started coaching in the United States for the Missouri Tigers in 1999. One of the said reasons was his command of the English language.

I think you're wrong, but I'm not going to yell at you about it. ;)

I will admit, this isn't reddit, which is nothing but insults and negativity.

Whenever Booker is at PG it looks like he expends a lot of energy just to keep control off the ball. Opposing defenses are all trying to wear him down. He’s either gotta get in better shape or they’ve gotta come up with a different plan.
And still be our leading scorer and be the clutch guy at the end of close games. Also having to play defense against quicker Point Guards. I support your opinion.

I noticed against the Celtics that, even with one of our minimally talented Point Guards on the floor, Booker was still dribbling the ball up the court on offense.

Probably will...... trying to also convince my 14yr old nephew (who loves Booker) to come with me to DC for the day. Then I am going to spring the game on him right before shootaround starts.

His first NBA game ever.

There's the reasoning for the wife, it's a Christmas present for your nephew. She wouldn't want to deprive him of that. Of course you must accompany him because he needs an educated fan to get the full experience that is a live NBA game since there are no announcers broadcasting live to the those in attendance. What sort of uncle would you be if you let him attend the game alone, at that hour.

Have fun!

People suck and deserve to be hated. If you’re a dick - then you own all consequences you receive.

Oubre and Ariza . Going to be a good game. This is the game where Beale decides he wants to be traded to the Suns.

Right now. Three talking faces on ESPN talking about how great the Celtics are playing. Saying the the Suns game was just a let down.

I don't want to take anything away from that victory but the Celtics minus Horford and Baynes simply aren't the same team. I think we might still have beat them had Haynes stayed healthy but if Horford had been there too, I suspect we'd have ended up on the short side.

They’re getting smoked by the Bucks right now.

I'm not surprised. Our win wasn't flukey in any way but despite our win streak and improvement, we're still not exactly a good team. So I think it shows just how vulnerable this team is with their big men unavailable.

I thought that at the time. A little of both.

Look at the comments by the players though. They are starting to believe in themselves. They believe if they work hard enough they can shut teams down. That is really fun for a fan to watch

The things Giannis was doing to them were X-rated.

He's the last guy you want to have no rim protecting presence against. He will get into the lane at will and if there is no big body in there to cut him off he will be dunking all over the place.
