Final:
Clippers 115 - Suns 99
Clippers 115 - Suns 99
They really don't need his offense finishing games really....so....If Ayton's struggling on offense, might as well go to Holmes. At least he brings defense and rebounding.
AND AGAIN GIVING UP THE OFFENSIVE REBOUND OFF A MISSED FT
Chambers said he could start Friday.Nice to see okobo play well.

My biggest complaint about Ayton is that he just floats around on both ends of the court far too often making whispy movements with and without the ball.
He rarely anchors his mass to the floor or ou muscle his opponent for positioning. I can count on my hand the number of power/explosive plays he has made.
Stop floating around the court Ayton and start playing like the 7 foot freak we know you can be.
They're teaching, but the coach isn't holding him accountable enough. He needs someone to teach him how to play the position. He got a late start playing the game, never got steady coaching in high school moving around a lot, got no coaching last year with the distraction of the FBI probe and being played out of position at power forward, and is clearly getting no coaching now. Talent and athleticism, even at a freakish level, only gets you so far. Ayton has demonstrated that he really wants to learn. The problem is that he hasn't had a teacher.
I am really getting sick of losing and trying to see progress in a loss.
But if we could get this kind of contributions from Jackson and Okobo when our normal contributors play an average game we would win most nights.
I mean with Okobo we may have found one of the two nba players the team has been missing.
Has the concept of positionless basketball players carried over to coaching? Is there a big on the staff that can teach? Not Corliss
Really? Cutting Canaan, buying out Tyson, demoting Anderson to DNP’s, benching Bender permanently—that’s not holding players accountable? They're teaching, but the coach isn't holding him accountable enough.
Starting 5
1- Okobo
2- Booker
3- Warren
4- Ariza
5- Ayton
Finishing 5
1- Booker
2- Bridges/Jackson

5- Holmes

The way a coach holds players accountable is with playing time, but you do have to put five players on the floor.

Ayton went full Bender tonight. That was tough to watch.
