Damn if someone on the Suns staff let the players know that Nash is 3 boards away from a tb, I'm sure they'd help him get it.

Great game! Frye is clutch when it's crunch time. Nash got rest and had some juice at the end of the game. Studley, Warrick, Hill, everybody played some defense. I want more. :D

Gortat dribbles the clock out under pressure. I love it.

I wonder how many more wins the Suns would have if Channing did not get hurt.

That was probably the best officiated Suns game this season.

yay! we're the Utah Jazz post losing the Finals. Mediocre enough to maybe squeak in the playoffs or miss them and get a terrible lotto pick while being extremely old.

yuck.

and sorry folks... but that Griffin dunk over Gortat was sick and it was a really stupid foul call IMO. If that was Amare back in the day, the board would be irate. one of the more ridiculously athletic plays i've ever seen.

I think Griffin's pull down of Gortat from behind was more dramatic. That mouthpiece stare down of the referee was also bush-league. Until he grows up I'm not prone to give Griffin much credit.

you thought his pull down was more dramatic? huh?

and sorry, but i've got no problem with Griffin looking at the ref incredulous. it was a terrible call. i mean, if you're not gonna give griffin much credit, are you gonna say nash complaining on pretty much EVERY call made or not made for him makes him bush league?

all griffin does is hustle his ass off on every play... for a team with an owner who couldn't give a damn about it. if you don't get credit for that, i don't know what does get you credit.

All I'm saying is until Griffin stops showboating and acting like some kind of tough guy on the court, I'm not giving him the credit. If he would just play basketball I would feel differently. He is a tremendous athlete. Too bad he can not let his ability do the talking. As for Nash, he has been around awhile and has earned some respect, something Griffin has not.

He just threw the ball into the rim. I don't even know if that qualifies as a dunk cause he didn't even touch the rim.

sorry, but a guy who is continually hammered, undercut and pushed around while hanging in the air and still plays hard and brings 22 and 13 deserves a lot of respect. dude IS a tough guy on the court. he's the very definition of one. he's fearless to the hole, gets hammered more than anyone else in the league (he's the league leader in players who have been Flagrant fouled) and continually gets up and does the dirty work. not sure what more you want from that guy.

If you remember when Amare first came into the league he used to literally throw the ball down through the hoop routinely. I didn't care if they called it a dunk or not. IMO, it's worth more than the normal dunk with the knuckles. The thing with Griffin, he was injured most of last season and this is essentially his rookie campaign yet he getting all the glitz like he is the second coming of Michael Jordan... and sucking his mouthpiece like it is a pacifier while trying to stare down the officials. Sorry, he rubs me the wrong way.

Cheesebeef your opinion is as good as mine. Let me see him doing this 3-4 seasons down the road and I will be impressed.

Griffin can jump over a car but he can't jump over Gortat.

Griffin didn't even jump over the Kia. He jumped over its hood.

I don't think he'd be able to jump over Gortat's nose.

See guys, I found a fault with Marcin. The size of his nose.

That's about it! :)

lol.

all this kid's gonna do is get better. the fact that you're not impressed with a guy coming back from a an injury which wiped out an entire year... putting up 22, 13, 3 and 1... on a team with the worst ownership in sports... while giving his all on every play and actually making that team relevant/fun to watch is just weird.
