I't's good to hear Kevin Durant is happy with the coaching staff and veteran players the Suns have on their roster.

I agree, but I really think he just hasn't found his rhythm yet. He had some injuries, just had a kid- he is just not ready to play yet. He'll get there.

It will be easier to make these decisions when we hit December 15th, or whatever the date around there is when players signed in the off-season can be dealt. Then we'll have a better idea of how everyone is playing in this system and who might be expendable.

The Clippers led by 21 points in the 3rd quarter before the Suns woke up.

Nice to hear Devin Booker say his ankle is fine.

Hopefully Grayson made a strong enough impression on other teams because he's our best trade chip. If Dunn and O'Neale can keep up their level of play then there's no minutes available for Grayson. Once Beal returns there will be fewer minutes to go around as well.

We need a strong rebounding PF who can slide over play C also. We don't have that and if Grayson can bring one in then the Suns need to weigh their options.

With Beal being so injury prone and Tyus only here for one year it would have to be a killer trade. Plus he can only be traded for a contract(s) equalling about $14-16m. Not sure what the options are.

The Clippers may be like the Suns in the 4th quarter last season.

We can go lower. Grayson's cap hit is $15.6, I believe. So we can go lower but not higher. You can sort salaries on Spotrac. Bobby Portis is who I'd want the most that fits that criteria. The below is just PF's. You can view C's also. Of course rookies or rookie contracts like Paolo aren't happening.

Pistons Stewart also fits.

It's the way Allen came into camp that has me concerned. IMO, the extra weight-muscle has effected his shot.

I don’t think it’s muscle, he’s got “dad bod” going on.

He spent the offseason with his late pregnancy wife… putting on weight is understandable. I hope he’s trying to slim down.

He was never quick for his position, now he looks flat out slow.

6’4”guards guards who don’t play good or physical defense should not be anywhere near his current weight.

This scared me live, but I think he might have been embellishing a bit because he didn’t get the call. Dude clearly was in Booker’s landing zone.

Apparently the Suns made 15 shots in a row in the 3rd quarter. Wonder what the record is for that sort of thing.

Can we put the 4th quarter holoween night mares of last year to bed

Way too early to make that call but this team shows more tenacity for sure. I'm certain people believed we'd turn it all around for at least half of last season. I'm not sure when the tide turned but I'd say around the All-Star Break or trade deadline is when the majority of Suns fans saw Vogel's days were numbered and admitted that team was headed nowhere.

This appears to be more than a new chapter but potentially a new story altogether. Budenholzer has depth, isn't afraid to ride the hot hand, and will sit anyone who isn't contributing. He sat Nurk for almost the entire 2nd quarter and kept him on a short leash. He also sat KD for a long stretch in the 2nd half and pulled Allen for taking bad shots. Ball movement was fantastic with Tyus, Booker, O'Neale, Dunn, and Plumlee out there. They turned things around.

It might actually be easier to manage this team with Beal out—or other players out on any given night.

I am really impressed with Bud so far. And Tyus makes such a difference; especially in the 4th. It is so good to see passing rather than ISO ball all 4th quarter.
