A little birdie says the reason the Wolves couldn't make a deal with Phoenix for Garnett is that the Suns were unwilling to give up the first-round unprotected 2008 draft pick they have coming from Atlanta. That pick could end up being No. 1 overall.

I'm soooo tired of this BS line, they said the same freakin thing last year. Man up and admit the real reasons. I really hope that we see a resurgent Boom Boom, much like during the 05-06 playoffs but I'm just too jaded at this point to have much faith that we have the depth for a run for a ring.
