Oubre was huge down the stretch.
Let's see after we get a real PG. Jackson, he's a smart guy, doesn't need to score that much to contribute. He's played in every game this year. He's mostly just frustrated by the whole situation right now, but there's a spot for him on this team.Igor still has to go.
How can our plays in crunch time again be this Booker 1v5 and pray...?
Josh Jackson barely played in the 2nd half. I think we have to move him if we can get any value.
He is way too ball dominant and taking too many shots for how inefficient he is.
Booker taken out and substituted for defense. I like it. Finally some in game adjustments.
Johnson realized Ayton was the guy to feed.
Grew tired of the Booker possessions down the stretch again. There was one play where Oubre took the rebound from Booker and looked him off and finished the play from end to end.
He’s shooting 60% because he knows his limitations. There are 10 easy shots available to him in a game so he takes those. The man is 6 of 11. He's shooting better than 60% for the year. Yea, but let's shy away from that guy!
He doesnt play smart at all, just reckless and is not a good defender at this point.Let's see after we get a real PG. Jackson, he's a smart guy, doesn't need to score that much to contribute. He's just frustrated by the whole situation right now.

He will never get 18 shot attempts the way this roster is constructedThere are at minimum, 5-7 additional "easy shots" available to him right now... And if/when he actually learns how to get position on a consistent basis, he should have average no less than 15-18 shot attempts per game.

Way too many ball dominant and shot happy perimeter players that eat up posessions and a coach who is running a system designed for the center to set screens at the 3pt line.

Glad I decided to watch this when I got home. It is so nice to see them win one!
Final:
Suns 124 - Heat 121
Suns end 17 game losing streak.
A good day for Valley teams. Even though, for the D-backs, it is only Spring Training.
And our upcoming temperature highs will now be 70-75, instead of lows in the 30's.
Goodbye global extremes and hello Boys of Summer. But, alas, the Suns will still be the Suns.

Wow I didn’t realize he was getting so many touches that don’t materialize into anything. That’s disappointing.Maybe that is what is needed, but it seems a little short-sighted at this point. Firing a coach does will not cover up FO/management/roster mistakes (other than hiring the wrong coach). I know that many are saying that Ayton is misused and that is reason enough to fire the coach. I had this conversation on reddit that while Ayton is not getting as many shots as others on the team who should perhaps not be taking them, he is 5th in the league in paint touches. He is 8th in elbow touches. I maintain that the issue is with Ayton (naturally - a rookie with suspect conditioning) just as much if not more so than external factors.
Bring in whomever - it won't change who Ayton is today.
Up on the elbow? Of course. He gets the “touches” but his first instinct is to look for someone else instead of shooting/attacking.
Where do you get stats like that?Wow I didn’t realize he was getting so many touches that don’t materialize into anything. That’s disappointing.
