Eleven more games to go.
I know there was some talk here about the Suns not needing to draft their "PG of the future" cause of Ulis but I hope all that talk is now put to bed.
Ulis won't ever be a starting caliber PG like IT because IT came into the league with a nice jumper while Ulis has nothing that even resembles close to a jumper. IT was also lethal from 3 which Ulis isn't.
I do like Ulis though and think he can be a high caliber backup PG which is most likely his ceiling as a player. He would be the perfect backup to have to Fultz.

I heard one of the Suns announcer call Booker a streaky shooter. I'm afraid he could be right although I hope for more.
One of the points EJ made, which I really agree with, is he thinks Marquiss Chriss is really going to develop a sculpted NBA body. He thinks we have yet to see this guy develop physically. Could be awesome to look forward to this!
I don't need to look at his stats, I can look at his game and see if he has a jumper or not. He's 21, give me break. You can determine whether he can develop a knockdown jumper already?
Booker is shooting 42 % at 20 years old, I guess that's the percentage he's shooting for the next 15 years of his career.
Being a good FT shooter doesn't necessarily translate to being a good shooter off dribble and in live play. For example, guys like Westbrook and Wall are pretty good FT shooters but neither is even a decent 3pt shooter. But of course since both are 6'3+ and athletic freaks, they can mask their 3pt shooting deficiency.I've been noticing Ulis is shooting flat shots from the field. I think his shooting can be improved if he puts just a little more arc on the ball. In college and the NBA he has been able to shoot over 80% from the free throw line which usually translates to shooting. IMO, Ulis should be able to improve his shooting considerably so I would not write him off so quickly.
In regard to the draft, I believe in drafting BPA unless two players at different positions grade out the same, then one drafts for need.
Don't know much about streaky or backcourt mate but I do know that his ankle has been bothering him. That probably affects his shooting and offensive efficency.

Horrible game by Booker.
