I think we can all agree, there is something definitely wrong with the Suns.

IMO, the GM tried to shortcut the process with quick fixes.
There is but I wasn't talking about the FO issues.

The GM assembles the team. It's where it all starts.
Every single thing that happens to the team can be traced back to the FO. That doesn't mean the FO has control over every little thing that happens on the team. People still have to do their jobs.

If a GM doesn't assemble the right people to do the job, it all trickles down.

The Suns do not look like a team that enjoys playing together, nor did they fix the hole in the middle of their defense.

Btw, this team doesn't even play defense, nor are they a well honed offensive team.

Sure but that doesn't abdicate each and every person from individual responsibility. That's why you control what you have control over. If they don't? That's the FO job to make changes.

Gotta have the right ingredients to make a cake.

Looks like the GM will have to borrow some things he forgot from a neighbor.

Well, we supposedly had the middle fixed. Then Ayton turned into a basket case. You all know how this went after that. It's not easy to get a top line big man, even in this day and age of the diminished center role. It seems in my lifetime, we are always missing some portion. For a long time it was center. Then PF. Seemed like we ALWAYS had great PGs, until a decade without one. It just seems like we are that one position away from a Championship team.

That's true in my time watching as well but I think this latest run has been a bit worse because they have the players but they're forcing most, if not all, out of their natural positions. Booker at PG or SF, same for Beal, KD at PF or C. Grayson as a PG or SF, Royce as a PF, and Nurkic as a full time stretch C. You can make tweaks like those work for stretches but attempting them full time as a default is a recipe for disaster. There's no fall back plan. That's why I'm with @Mainstreet as far as it being a front office more than a player issue.

I'd look at coaching first but we've had 3 top tier coaches over the last 3 years and all were embarrassed in the playoffs. The best playoff performance in that time was squad that most resembled a traditional team as well. Chuck seems to be proven correct so far as well, saying Vogel was a scapegoat. The Suns "hot start" made that laughable for some but now that the team has faced some adversity it's been forgotten or ignored.

This time around the 2nd Apron felt like the worst timing ever.

This is our issue, we have no interior defense. Teams drive on us at will. Then we have no interior guy for offense, no lob threat, no person to run pick and roll. PnR may not be the big three's strong suit but still that ability for the center to set a screen then roll opens up some many opportunities such as dunks, pullups, passing lanes for passing out to the shooter. All our centers have no game outside of 5 feet.
