once again, we have no pick next year, what good does it do to let nash (a fan favorite and kind of an ok basketball player) go? in your opinion it sounds like nash is such a bad defensive player and the whole league knows it, we couldn't get more than maybe a 2nd rounder out of him..

So we should keep a guy because he is a fan favorite? That is the kind of ineptitude that has made the Suns one of the longest franchises in any sport to go without a title.

I think Nash still carries some value because there are teams in the NBA that languish offensively that could use Nash.

youre clueless man, nash is the reason we got to where we went NOT the reason we DIDNT get to where we were trying to go. PERIOD.

And where was that? To "almost land"? Did we get a title? Nobody is saying Nash was not the reason why we had a few years of fun basketball.

It's universally known the Suns have never played enough defense to win a title. Your going to sit here and say Nash was not A reason why? When he is one of the worst defenders on the team?

Really? Talk about clueless.

yes, that is clearly obvious. these guys are all nba defensive players.

Here is the kicker. Rondo is a good defensive player at that position and we had him. However, he was not a good enough "offensive" player and traded away because he was not "Nash" like. Wow....just wow.

And there my friends is an example of what makes up the 70% denial.

the best part about this argument, is that steve nash is going to be here to torment you possibly for YEARS to come. i hear the portland bandwagon is really gaining steam.

That's the best part? I would think the facts would be the best part. Needless to say I like Steve Nash. He is one of my favorite players to ever wear a Suns uniform. See the number on my avatar. However, I am a Suns fans first. I want this team to win a title more then anything. Meaning that even if I have to look at one of my favorite players without :koolaid: eyes then so be it. Try it some time. It's liberating.

Besides, it would only be torture if I thought the Suns could win a title in the next 3 years and we missed out just because Steve was on this team. Even though Steve is a big part of the problem he is not the only one. With or without Steve this team needs alot of work to even sniff a title.

Sorry to put a damper on your theory.
