To be fair they're the only 3 centers the Suns have.

The team desperately needs a C/PF or PF/C..

I have some hope that Okogie might have some trade value. He's making $8.25m this year, unguaranteed next season but can be picked up for $7.75m.

What's the saying, three strikes and you are out. I wasn't counting on Oso this season.

James Jones needs to fix the 4/5 position like he did the point guard position.

Injuries didn't help. I don't think they made that much of a difference though. The Kings were without Monk and DeRozen only played the first half. Losing a player in game is typically harder to overcome since you can gameplan for someone not being available. Having to switch things up halfway through in a way that allows you to keep playing well is harder.

The main issue was the Suns defense that allowed fhe Kings to shoot 64% from the field and 54% from 3. The only reason the score wasn't incredibly lopsided is the Suns 19 offensive rebounds. That kept it within 30 points. The Suns still shot a paltry 37% overall and 30% from 3. They also shot 73% from the FT line. Those shooting splits will almost always lead to a loss.

The Kings were short Malik Monk and DeMar DeRozan for a good part of the game.

Other than the Suns were playing the second game of a back-to-back, I don't offer any excuses for their poor play.

That's a fair point but there isn't an team in the league that can lose 2/3rds of it's system plus their best 3 point shooter and be expected to play on the same level.

I'm always remember when the Heat were extremely shorthanded several seasons back and came to Phoenix and destroyed the Suns.

IMO, Phoenix had such an opportunity last night and didn't seize the moment.

Did they miss an opportunity? Sure. However, if your expectations are the same as when the team is at full strength they might be out of whack a bit. I am just hoping they hold serve enough until people get back.

I always expect the Suns to always play hard and as a team.

I guess that's in the eye of the beholder. The team looked exhausted coming off a back to back, playing guys that were not part of the rotation and looked confused. The rotations were obviously thrown off and it impacted what they wanted to do. I didn't see a bunch of guys not playing hard but that is just me.

If the Suns bought into the philosophy they were tired, they were beaten before the game began.

Still a good start to season of course theres gonna be bunps bef poffs better to fix issues early

I thought some of this was going on, but that's only me.

I don't think being tired has anything to do with philosophy. Neither does patchwork rotations. Honestly, this game doesn't mean anything to me. I have ridden so many high and lows with this team the past few years that I am not going to overreact about the great start and I am not going to get bent over a loss like this. I have learned my lesson. It's too stressful.

If there was one area that I am starting to get concerned about? It's Book but it's also early and he was sick.
