The Knicks (9-22) lost to the Pacers on the road tonight 110-99 while the Suns (6-24) come into the game on a two game winning streak having beat Dallas and Minnesota at home.

Just checked a Knicks message board. I did not realize they are in full tank mode. The posts I read were 100%. They were all afraid they might win this game.

I just don't see the value of worrying about that with the new lottery odds. Unless they are afraid they won't finish in the bottom 5 or so.

Exactly it’s kind of stupid to tank now. Almost a 50 percent chance of getting the fifth pick for the worst record.

I really do think with the new system teams should just try to win.

Oh, I agree! I have zero desire to see the Suns lose and tank. I think they kicked butt in the last draft, and they have plenty of young talent now. I want to see them develop what they have at this point instead of tanking to add more teenagers to the roster.

Yes, a .479% chance of picking 5th but a 100% chance of picking in the top 5. And a 42% chance of drafting in the top 3. It's worse than what it was and hopefully it will put an end to the Hinkie draft plan and what we did last year but still, most tanking occurs after the all star break and it still will IMO. We should have no need to tank this season but development should still take precedence over wins and losses.

Agree. The Suns should play to win but not at the cost of developing the young players and finding out who they want to keep for next season.
