Most likely camera angles and shoes, but Beal looks taller than Book. In my head I thought Beal was at least a couple inches shorter...

I noticed the same thing.

Booker is listed at 6'5 and Beal at 6'4, but it looks like it should be the opposite in those photos.

Book was measured a full inch taller at their respective combines. Book has always looked a legitimate 6’5” to me. Beal is stronger. His legs and shoulders just look different like he’s a strong safety.

The Suns took Portland's centers in Eubanks and Nurkic. The Trail Blazers took Ayton.

Booker is wearing Chucks while Beal is wearing modern BB shoes. That alone will give Beal an extra inch on Booker. Chucks are probably the lowest shoe available. They don't add height like other's do.

You can see Booker's entire toe'd portion of his shoe is below the sole of KD's shoe. That paints a picture of how much extraneous material is added to BB shoes nowadays.

thing is I thought Book was all Nike'd up - i remember a show deal recently looked like a kobe spin off with different colorways

Is this Suns team the most all in team in NBA history? I get other super teams have been formed but what team in NBA history has traded away almost all its assets and paying max salary.

I'd say it's close. I'd put the Warriors ahead when they signed KD and also got Cousins. That was a bit more than where we're at but they won the championship 2 years prior and lost in the finals the year before. This Suns team very could be the most all in team that doesn't have a title though. It's on par with Toronto, who traded away DeRozen for Kyrie and made a few other small moves to put themselves in position to win.

Perspective can be deceptive. Scroll up just a few posts on this page and Booker looks to be considerably taller than Beal at the same photo shoot.

Lol.. I learned how photos can be deceiving after seeing people post pictures with their social media angles to highlight certain things.
