I’m not crazy about Bartlestein taking such a hands on role in player personnel decisions.

Suns media day is on AZFamily Sports, which is an over the air channel. 44.1 for me.

James Jones says he doesn't look back. He is always forward-looking.

He says the Suns will play with an edge and the environment is important for Grayson Allen.

Vogel up.

Says Devin the guy at the end of games to have the ball. He feels confident Booker will thrive.

Nurkic is especially important for his defensive rebounding and passing.

He also seemed to make it pretty clear he won't put up with "reckless" play or hurting players. So, he want's Allen's edge.

The media likes talking about Grayson Allen.

Frank describes him as an irritant but also a highly skilled player.

I'm a bit surprised Grayson Allen has been a topic now with both JJ and Vogel. He's a 6th man, at best, but his play style or tenacity seems to be a major talking point. Meanwhile we have 3 All-Star's at the top of the roster who are only discussed in passing.

Frank thinks the Suns have the potential to be great defensively but more talented offensively (paraphrase).

Edginess and toughness seem to be a common theme this offseason. I have heard them bring that up repeatedly.

As much fun as the CP3/Book Suns were and despite being a good defensive team, they were still tissue paper soft. So was the post Bridges trade KD Suns. They needed to get tougher mentally and physically if they ever wanted to win a title.

James Jones on comparing Nurkic to Ayton. He said he likes Nurkic because he thought he would be a good fit to know when to pass or roll. He also says we needed a guy to understand that he is a big and needs to be in the paint and be a big.

That was definitely a veiled shot at Ayton.

James Jones likes Nurkic' chemistry with the guards and to be in the paint and at the rim. He doesn't complain and embraces it.

Chambers pointing out Nurkic has no fear.

Frank Vogel is now taking with Leander and Chambers. He seems so relaxed and polished.

He is described as a people person.

I'm not sure how the T-shirt will fit with the white jersey. Devin Booker is wearing this combination.
