I'd really like to see Bender have a breakout season. I hope they play him as much as possible even if he starts out the season slow if for no other reason than to get him experienced.

Chriss...I'm a little concerned about him. Anyone else? Not sure what to think about him. I hope he gets his fouling under control and shows some dominance somewhere.

I agree about Chriss. I think he's shown us his best. 'Good thing we have other young alternatives.

My problem with Chriss is his attitude. He is actually a really good player for his age, but he really needs to improve his attitude. Instead of getting angry, throwing his arms and hands in the air, and making faces, he needs to get back on defense, defend, block shots, get rebounds.

Believe it or not, I look for opportunities to agree with you. It might be that Chriss has shown us his best, but that is not based on potential. That kid has oodles of potential. He could be a bona fide star player.

His problem is attitude and possibly too many fork curls.

Agree. Let's hope he matures as he ages.

I cannot believe how quick people are to close the book on players who are, literally, teenagers.

It looks like Bledsoe will be playing some SG alongside Booker this season. I like the idea as Booker has some natural PG skills much like Harden. I wouldn't mind a Stephen Curry comparison either.

Booker is still only 20 so his game has plenty of time to grow.

From a by Scott Bordow article at azcentral sports dated 9-26-17.

“I think you’ll see more of his vision and playmaking come out this year,” General Manager Ryan McDonough said. “He’s wired primarily to score like a lot of young guys are but I think you’ll see the playmaking develop.”

Bledsoe said he's fine playing shooting guard at times and that in workouts this summer he and Booker have learned to play off each other no matter who has the ball.

“Devin can pass the ball as well as he can score it so I try to let him run the point sometimes and I’ll be the two guard,” Bledsoe said. “We just kind of flip that up.”

In looks like Ulis has added some muscle.

Backup point guard Tyler Ulis gained 10 pounds of muscle this offseason and now “packs” 160 pounds on his 5-foot-10 frame.

“That’s something I worked on during the summer,” Ulis said. “I was in the weight room trying to get bigger.”

Here is some good news from training camp.

Dragan Bender had terrific practice for Suns today. Active offensively, defensively. Earl Watson said it was best he's ever seen Bender play

How awesome would it be if the light came on for Bender given that he is so young. He could conceivably play all three front court positions and give the Suns tremendous versatility.

If Bender could play center he might give the Suns an option like Porzingis.

Decent video re: the scrimmage:

Nice find Chaplin.

Booker obviously played well as did Jackson. If Derrick Jones Jr. can ever put his game together he has a chance. He plays without effort. Len moved well. Bledsoe was Bledsoe handling the ball. Bender had one move than was simply awesome.

Warren is the silent assassin.

It would have been great to the the scrimmage streamed lived in it's entirety or on local television.

Nothing like seeing live basketball again to get excited about the season.
