i tried to watch the first game to see what Stix looked like, but it was impossible. Summer league is just atrocious basketball.

It's even worse watching this version of the summer league Suns.

There is not much talent beyond Ty-Shon Alexander and Jalen Smith. Suns needed a better distributor to run things.

Atrocious? I mean yeah he missed his 1st 2 shots, but they look like nice moves. There's no doubt he's still raw on offense although he has a nice stroke. There's no way I would trade him right now unless I was getting back something I think is going To be a key piece towards a championship. Of course I kept thinking Bender was going to turn into something. By the way on this 3rd shot that was a put back in, while it looked like he got tripped when he pivoted to go into his shot. I liked the pig at the time and dammit I'm sticking with it.

Whatever you are doing, keep it up. This is the best he has looked in summer league.

I disagree. Ayton wouldn't get the bashing he does if he showed moves like that regularly, miss or make. Sure, making them matters but its just Summer League. This is where you work on adding elements to your game as a youngster.

Naw you have to have success. Bender was touted as having great shooting form but he missed. So looking good is meaningless without the actual production.

I like Jalen shooting up top better than the corner.

Had Bender spent another year or two in Israel actually playing I think he could’ve made for a good role player over here. He had some physical talent.

Naw you have to have success. Bender was touted as having great shooting form but he missed. So looking good is meaningless without the actual production.

Bender was timid. He had good form and may have shot well in practice but that meant nothing since he wouldn't shoot during games.

A player needs reps. He won't make them all. Even the best shooters in the league shoot 60% or so in the paint.

If Stix could add 10-15 more pounds of muscle he would be a solid player. He has skills.

This abnormal shooting movement rule is going is be a pain this upcoming season.

They are going to debate it 5 minutes and jump it up at center court.
