This team is really a bad matchup for us. Ingram and Zion can slash us to death.
Just stop.
My point is that it’s not JUST the player. Especially this player. We’ve seen the tools, he just can’t put it together. Part of it is motivation, but where is that motivation supposed to come from? Why can’t he put it together? Coaching is a big part of the answer to both those questions. Not the WHOLE answer, but part of it nonetheless.Sure. I sincerely hope it's just coaching and there is some light at the end of this frustrating tunnel
A) you can lead a horse to water but a puss is a puss. What do you think? If he’s supposed to be teaching him about “physical post play,” he’s doing a terrible job at it.
And you if all people have little room to lecture me about what I don’t know about Deandre Ayton.
Your grasp of the scientific nomenclature is mind boggling.A) you can lead a horse to water but a puss is a puss.
Ok your honor.B) I’m not lecturing anyone, but go ahead and try to start a personal argument, not feeling it tonight.
Monty has made numerous comments about in the past. I think it likely he’s not just talking to the press about it.That means absolutely nothing outside of you just calling him names. Not productive at all.
Better to question how and why? And how to fix it. Are the coaches seeing what we are seeing or what?
Ok you’re right. The coaching is perfect.Monty has made numerous comments about in the past. I think it likely he’s not just talking to the press about it.
Yup. We have neither the size nor athleticism to stop that one-two punch. This team is really a bad matchup for us. Ingram and Zion can slash us to death.
I’ve been saying this for weeks. He doesn’t close out effectively.Players shoot right over the top of Ayton.

Dude, motivation has to come from within. If you’re relying on it coming from coaches or other players it will always be short lived. That’s not just basketball. That’s in all things. My point is that it’s not JUST the player. Especially this player. We’ve seen the tools, he just can’t put it together. Sigh. Ok. Can’t talk to someone if they don’t listen.Dude, motivation has to come from within. If you’re relying on it coming from coaches or other players it will always be short lived. That’s not just basketball. That’s in all things.
Hyperbole. Never said that. All we know is monty has commented about it and what we see on the court. We know monty wants him more aggressive. We know he’s not. We don’t know anything else for certain.Ok you’re right. The coaching is perfect.
I am literally responding to every word you are typing. What am I not listening to?Sigh. Ok. Can’t talk to someone if they don’t listen.
