Sorry this team can’t win unless they at least make a decent percentage of 3’s.

team makeup just won’t allow it.
Well they’re currently shooting 18% from three... can it get worse? Maybe it can only get better...

Would love to see DA and Saric in the lineup at the same time, and eventually, DA and Stix when Stix figures it out

Now it's time to give Jalen Smith some minutes.

Suns like that 3-point shot (6-33) even when it's not falling.

Ayton having 8 FGA in a game in which the 3s arent falling is criminal.

not even trying to go to him or even trying to get to the hoop. No nothing just run down and chuck up bricks.

no adjustments or anything this is embarrassing

I don't see him calling for the ball or trying to assert himself.

dude stop that’s not how it works. That’s the coach saying hey we are going to run plays to get points in the paint.

the message from Monty is just keep shooting

As it should be with all the turnovers trying to feed him, and even when he catches it his preferred shot is a fall away jumper which he makes less than 40 percent of the time.

i don’t agree for one reason, he seems to be more likely to turn it over when you try to feed him in the post than to get a good shot up.
Versus one of our brick chuckers missing outright? His turnover rate is overstated here, and it's hard for any player to get into an offensive flow when the team stops running plays for them after the 2nd quarter. That's not on Ayton, that's on Monty

Suns don't seem to know when to quit shooting threes. Part of that is coaching.

He is. One thing I've noticed that's different from his rookie season is that he's positioning himself better and yelling for the ball.

First, we were playing good team ball with Booker out. He played team ball for the most part Monday against the Mavs. Tonight completely dominates the first quarter, we barely hang on to keep up. Just seems like he messed up our rhythm we started to build.

Second, lineups. What with the substitutions patterns again? Why keep Cam in guarding Zion? Why keep Cam and Crowder in the game if they aren't nailing shots?

I would like to see Nader start in place of Cam, Cam just hasn't been getting it done as a starter. I really would like Booker to just pass the damn ball every now and then, he made cp3 take a back seat tonight when he was starting to ball. Can we just stop chucking up 3's? I see it more of coaching issue rather than a personnel issue with these types of games, the lack of adjustments just kills us.

BTW - when Zion was going bonkers, why wasnt Ayton on him? Everyone else played matador defense.

Monty's idea of what to do with Ayton is one of two things - having him set pick 20 feet from the basket or having him stand in the post waiting for the non-existent entry pass.

I don't see as whole lot of creativity in how they use him.

Ayton has played the same on offense since he's been a Sun. Setting picks too far from the basket and not being assertive and calling for the ball or establishing position. He also disappears offensively after the second quarter. It's not on Monty when the same issues were present with Igor as head coach.

So there’s zero chance Booker makes the all-star team this year right?

Curry
Lillard
McCollum
George
Mitchell
Luka

So Monty took Ayton off of Zion because he was afraid of what Steven Adams would do? Great coaching!!
