I just saw the 4th and ot, but the officials end our win streak. Sure, we could have won if Hill made a ft or if they went to Amare early in the 4th to foul out Sheed.

A tough loss, no one to blame but the shotty calls at the end...

no one to blame but the pistons for beating us while down a starter. there were no "shotty" calls at the end. it was clear that raja committed a foul on that rebound, the fact that you like the suns is just blinding you from seeing that. Rasheed was unstoppable all night, and so was chauncey. we lost fair and square in a game we really should have won. simple as that.

Pistons are a very good team that isn't dirty like the spurs, but that doesn't change the fact that this was our win and the refs handed them it.

Hopefully if we run into each other in the finals this garbage doesn't happen again.

i think the Suns should have gone after Rasheed and fouled him out of the game.

yep, Amare had a few "and 1's" on him late in the 4th but refs never called it.

We lost the game in the OT by not going to Amare or Shaq early to go at Rasheed with 5 fouls. Nash penetrated and turned it over promptly. With Shaq's body in the paint, there is just not much angle left for passing out to the shooters. You must have learned that by now! Well, the refs were doing everything in favor of Pistons in OT too.
The Nash blocking was definitely a charge with the standard set earlier in the game. And Amare got fouled on the Sheed "block". Also, the huge "steal" by Stuckey was a clear hacking foul on Shaq after his off. rebound. That were all huge swings of scores involved!

oh, LB was just frustrating to watch on both sides of the court. Bell was visibly slow than normal.

There were some really bad calls at the end of the game, but the Suns look stupid for whining and bitching on Raja's foul...he clearly fouled the dude and shoved him, in the air, out of rebounding position.

They should have threw that fit on the call on Shaq down low when he got murdered and the ball went to the roof, or a couple of others. But not the Raja call..it was textbook loose ball foul going for a rebound.

there a few in the 4th that severely impacted the game. First Nash was clearly charged by Chauncey but never called. Shaq was hacked on his left arm after he got the rebound and tried to dunk it. It was stripped because of it - no call. Amare had a few fouls from Sheed (not the block one though).

the fans here blame refs too much. we lost because the pistons are good. i wish amare wouldn't take himself out of the game in the first quarter every friggin night.

The block by Rasheed was clean. But Shaq was hacked on both arms. How can the refs miss it? And the Nash call was really BS.

The sheed block was clean and raja did foul, but none of that matters there were 3 other terrible calls against the suns that decided the game 3 times over anyway.

That call on Raja was unbelievably bad. Even if there was a LITTLE bit of reasoning behind it, think about it. Raja Bell gets called for pushing Antonio McDyess (who is bigger, mind you) with 15 SECONDS left in the game. In overtime! How is that a good call. That is a ticky-tack call by an officiating crew that, like all NBA officials, likes to flaunt their power and affect the outcome of big (and entertaining) games.

Yes, Grant Hill should have made a free throw. Yes, we should have played a little smarter in OT. But that is NO excuse to make that call with 15 seconds left. That was an awful, awful call at the worst possible moment. It's calls like that that hurt the integrity of the game. If McDyess gets thrown to the ground by Shaq, sure, call it, but to get a little push by little Raja Bell on a rebound? That's a 1st quarter foul, not an end of overtime foul. Period.

With the game on the line, you can't tell me Coach Confuscious Buddha Jackson wouldn't argue about a call like that. It was clear to us sitting in front of the TV and in instant replay that it was a foul, but maybe not from their point of view. With the game that close you argue practically about anything.

people complain when the refs decide to blow their whistles at the end of the game, and even more when they let them play. If the suns would have won the game, every single person here knows that they wouldn't have cried about the calls one bit. If the calls would have gone the other way, the pistons fans would have bitched about it. Like i said, the fact that just about everyone here is a suns fans is the reason why you're whining about calls. Basketball fans always hate the refs when their teams lose. Rather than blame the team for sub-par play, you would rather whine about the calls. The pistons were down their leader in ppg tonight, and we couldn't shut them down in regulation. That's the Suns' fault and nobody else's.

From the review, Sheed first hit Amare's shooting arm causing him to double clutch which then got "cleanly" blocked. That's still a foul.
