Amare should be upset about this loss and go ape**** on the Celts next game. He was embarrassed by Rasheed many times and couldn't return the favor. Tsk Tsk Tsk.
I'm not too disappointed by this loss. I honestly expected worse. At least we saw that we can hang with them now. If we meet again in the Finals, it's gonna be a lot more difficult with Rip back. Oh boy. All I ask is for this curent core group to learn from this experience and give us a chance if we indeed shall meet again in June.

There were some really bad calls at the end of the game, but the Suns look stupid for whining and bitching on Raja's foul...he clearly fouled the dude and shoved him, in the air, out of rebounding position.

They should have threw that fit on the call on Shaq down low when he got murdered and the ball went to the roof, or a couple of others. But not the Raja call..it was textbook loose ball foul going for a rebound.

Raja did foul the guy, but I can't blame the coaching staff for erupting the way they did. It was out of frustration at a time when the game was probably over. When Shaq got hacked with no call, the game was still winnable, and a T at that point hurts a lot more than it helps.

Is it that the Spurs, Pistons and Lakers get all the calls or is it that the refs have a vendetta against the Suns?

Well, I guess we shouldn't forget that Raja Bell was a little tentative and gimpy. But of course Suns fans don't really think about that.

Phoenix robbed yet again, I wonder if some time in 2042 the suns will win 18 straight titles after karma finally comes around. That would be nice.

people complain when the refs decide to blow their whistles at the end of the game, and even more when they let them play. If the suns would have won the game, every single person here knows that they wouldn't have cried about the calls one bit. If the calls would have gone the other way, the pistons fans would have bitched about it. Like i said, the fact that just about everyone here is a suns fans is the reason why you're whining about calls. Basketball fans always hate the refs when their teams lose. Rather than blame the team for sub-par play, you would rather whine about the calls. The pistons were down their leader in ppg tonight, and we couldn't shut them down in regulation. That's the Suns' fault and nobody else's.

I call out crappy calls by refs no matter what team it is.

Yep. Bad calls usually go both ways. If the Suns want to keep the games close and let the refs deceide it then thats on them. Thats not even up for debate. The Suns must control the game if they want to be champs...PERIOD!

That call on Raja was unbelievably bad. Even if there was a LITTLE bit of reasoning behind it, think about it. Raja Bell gets called for pushing Antonio McDyess (who is bigger, mind you) with 15 SECONDS left in the game. In overtime! How is that a good call. That is a ticky-tack call by an officiating crew that, like all NBA officials, likes to flaunt their power and affect the outcome of big (and entertaining) games.

Yes, Grant Hill should have made a free throw. Yes, we should have played a little smarter in OT. But that is NO excuse to make that call with 15 seconds left. That was an awful, awful call at the worst possible moment. It's calls like that that hurt the integrity of the game. If McDyess gets thrown to the ground by Shaq, sure, call it, but to get a little push by little Raja Bell on a rebound? That's a 1st quarter foul, not an end of overtime foul. Period.

it was an awful play by Raja at the worst possible moment. Most everyone here knows that that was a push. McDyess may have grabbed that board and sealed the game, and he may not have. Either way, Raja fouled him instead of boxing out and essentially cost us the game.

What? That's ridiculous. He jumped for a CRUCIAL rebound and got pushed in the side, bending him sideways and he was shoved out of the position for the ball. THAT is a foul, 1Q, 4TH, OT, anywhere. Playground. In fact, going for the rebound that would seal the game is just as important for the Riot team as it is crucial for the Suns to try and get a chance to win.

It was an awful, awful foul to make at a crucial time in the game. To not call it ruins the integrity of the game. Complete and total overreaction by the Suns, due to them getting completely screwed on 4 calls earlier and a couple more in the 4th. But not that one.

Please. You make it sound like he barreled into McDyess, and that just isn't true. I don't know if NOT making that call would have helped our chances, but you don't make that call with 15 seconds left in the game. You want to know what it's like in the playoffs? I GUARANTEE that call wouldn't have been made if this was a playoff game.

The reason is he usually gets guarded by amare, who still can not defend the post. it also doesn't hurt that he is one of the premiere centers in the league.

Are you serious? You honestly believe not calling that foul ruins the integrity of the game? You, with a Kobe Bryant avatar? What a joke.

With the game on the line, you can't tell me Coach Confuscious Buddha Jackson wouldn't argue about a call like that. It was clear to us sitting in front of the TV and in instant replay that it was a foul, but maybe not from their point of view. With the game that close you argue practically about anything.

No, Phil Jackson would never put on that display. Never. That was a freaking tantrum.

I get the bad calls prior...there were some atrocious ones. It was clearly frustration with the other calls...

i won't bother to respond, when donald said all that i can about this subject. It was a foul, and fouls get called. I wouldn't have been surprised to see the foul not be called either. When you do the crime, you do the time. It's that simple.

Yes, because if it were Kobe Bryant doing it to Amare in the same position, and it was NOT called, you all would lose your minds.

Funny that the integrity of the game is only in question when it is your team caught doing something completely stupid like Raja was.
