The Suns are off Wednesday. They practice Thursday before the home game Friday against the Pistons.

So far so good, mostly. Honestly the starters might be getting outplayed? I think they lost the first half against the lakers. And the pistons game they didn’t exactly flow and gel like they should. Granted the starting center is out but there should still be some continuity there. Am I the only one thinking this?

It's preseason, so I don't worry about the starters much. It's the rookies and bench showing something that gets me excited.

We're not going to see a lot of stuff from the starting 5 in preseason. That's good coaching to hold that back. The starting 5 are all pro's so they can work on their stuff in practice when other teams can't write a scouting report off of what they're doing. We'll see a few small things, like the reverse PnR that they're doing but Book, Beal, KD, Nurk, and even Tyus are the least of my worries. The preseason is for the coaching staff to see who fills out the rotation and I don't envy them but I'd say Oso is going to take Plumlee's spot as backup to Nurk already. Outside of that we'll see Grayson and Royce but the rest is fluid.

Yeah that’s the concerning part for now. The big three still don’t seem to gel well enough. I need to see more out of them for the minutes they are out there.

What gives me hope in regard to the starters and bench is they will actually have point guards running the show. This should make a big difference in regard to offensive spacing, which the Suns lacked last season.

The Suns will have a new starting lineup tonight, but Bud is not telling.

Running plays through Kd ugh. I thought we weren’t doing that.

Lineup is rough with Dunn and Plum.

I swear I almost said something earlier about how I expected to see the Big 3 held out for the remainder of pre-season. I guess it's Book's turn tonight though, which is good.

I always thought Tobias Harris would look good in a Suns uniform.

I don’t understand why Jo passed that out to contested Bol with time winding down.
