Camby's exactly the kind of player that the Suns like to leave wide open for flat-footed 18-footers, then get shocked when he makes a few in a row.

That's still the book on him, though. You let him shoot from the top of the key and don't let him roam the paint or get passing lanes. He's an underrated passer for a big man.

I'm more worried about Stoudemire getting in foul trouble in this series. He has to keep his head on defense and not try to block every shot.

We wont have to worry about that... Amare hasnt tried to black a shot all season. Mostly he tries to just take charges under the rim.

Phil Jackson is a loser. He had to call out Durant and his foul shots just because he wanted the NBA refs to be wary of calling fouls for Durant during their series. It's so obvious. Jackson lived this long on calls for Jordan, Kobe and the likes and he's whining now about Durant? Please. Save it loser!!!

He starts this BS pretty much every year and unfortunately it oftentimes seems to work for him. I don't think it will rattle Durant though and coming on the heels of a horrible non-call involving Durant that perhaps changed the course of OK's season I can't see the refs giving it much attention.

Durant earns his trips to the line as much as any of the scoring stars do. It's hard to believe this kid is just 21 and is still thin as a rail. Just imagine when he fills out what he's going to be capable of.

Webster starts ahead of Cuninningham? Or Bayless alongside Miller?

Frye learnt to play defense?

Actually maybe they want him to space the floor more, while drawing either Camby or Aldridge out of the paint, to clear up more space for Amare?

frye still coming off the bench. its just comparing the more relevant suns center to the starting center of the blazers.

After Game 1 loss, Gentry commented "All the games we play against them are going to be just like this." I assume he meant the slow pace, low scoring affair and not the final result, but even so, isn't that conceding a bit too much? Isn't that like saying "the Blazers want to play at a slow pace and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it."

The team that gets to dictate the pace throughout the game will generally be in a good position to win. The Suns cannot think that if they want to win this series, they have to play Blazers' style of basketball. That's not how we got to 54 wins and that's not how we play. The problem is, we knew exactly what Blazers were going try to do and how they were going to do it, and, with three days to prepare, we just basically let them execute their game plan to perfection. I wonder what were they practicing for the past three days prior to the game. Clearly, the game plan has to be to run the Blazers out of the building and not to try to beat them at their own game.

I wouldn't interpret it that way. Both teams scored in the 100s, so the pace was a compromise; you can bet that Portland would rather see scores in the 80s. I think what Gentry was saying was, "The Blazers are strong enough defensively to take away some of what we want to do. We'll keep the pace as fast as we can, but it won't be as easy as against some lesser opponents."
