What are the chances that we can send Bledsoe, Plumlee or Len and Ennis and our unprotected 1st next year and the TWolves pick to CLE for Wiggins?
They need a starting caliber guard who plays D in Bledsoe and a backup to replace Jack in Ennis.
Hell I'll even take any bad contract that the Cavs wanna dump.
I'm guessing that if the Cavs get LBJ they offer Wiggins for Love.
I'm content to not blow our wad and just build on last year's team. They probably need a short term fix at PF/C but outside of that they should hold off.
If Bosh gets a max deal I expect by December it will widely be considered the worst contract in the NBA.
Whatever Minnesota wants for Love at the moment we dont have it. But if they're in the toilet around New Years, facing the cold reality of losing him for nothing, then keeping our salary flexibility would make us one of the prime suitors to bring him in.
I'd take a one year max salary for Wade... but obviously he wouldnt.
Boozer?!?! Are you guys freaking kidding me?? CARLOS BOOZER?!?! Thinking bringing him in would import some of that tough Bull mentality is exactly along the lines of the Suns bringing in Luc Longley because of his championship experience. There is a reason Boozer rides the pine in the clutch for Chicago every night and its not because he is a tuffy. He is a good rebounder but thats about it. Mediocre offensively and he'd fit right in with our front court on defense. The guy is and always has been a very poor defender, playing next to Noah hides his warts a bit but playing alongside our bigs he would be fully exposed.

That is wrong. The salary floor only means that if you don't reach it you have to distribubte the difference to your players.
Keeping our caproom for next year makes little to no sense as most of it will be gone due to re-signing Bledsoe to a larger number, Dragic's caphold next year and extensions or capholds of the Morri and Green.
I'd like to see them target Monroe, but the money is going to be nuts.
Also, if he becomes available, I'd consider looking at Boozer for a couple of years. He's on the downside but he'd bring some toughness to the team. Although it'd have to be a really cheap deal.
Boozer is available, he was amnestied last week. I think he would be a nice stop gap unless PHX is content with last season's roster minus Frye and hoping to land a better spot in next year's lottery. I also like Monroe as he is young enough to grow with this team but DET will likely match a max offer plus there's competition for him.
No, Boozer hasn't been amnestied yet. Chicago is still hoping to trade him and be off the hook for his salary.
Hm, I wonder what we could get from Chicago for taking Boozer off their hands.

I'd be fine with this, but I don't want another Okafor situation where the Suns pay the guy to spend the season "rehabbing" 3000 miles away because he can't stomach the thought of actually suiting up for them. Okafor could really have been useful down the stretch last season, and the Suns paid him his full salary for him to completely ignore them.
