Double teaming Scola on defense. Nash trying by himself on offense, we are in early 9-19 deficit. Doesn't look good.

Suns don 17-28 with 2:23 left in the 1st quarter. Suns shooting 38%, Rockets 55%. :(

What's up with our shooting lately?

Rockets play the kind of defense withou lapses that render the antics by Nash useless-- dribbling around without any space gain, just as Spurs used to do us. And on defense, they post Scola and Battier plus a little Brooks pnr. We are in big trouble already.

Our shooting is always a result of their defense.

Suns down 22-34 after the 1st quarter. Suns shooting 40%, Rockets 56% with 5/9 3 pointers. :( The Suns have committed 4 turnovers. :(

Poor offense, poor defense, plus turnovers equals recipe for failure. :(

We've generally had good success offensively against the Lakers the past few years, better than against the Spurs.

LB controlled himself one time, got a good pass to Dud for layup. Otherwise,Amare finally got the ball and we are coming back slowly.

you get Amare involved. you get defense stretched honest. only then Nash could create some space for others, against good defense. that's too obvious.

the play before 2:35 to, Nash ignored Amare open on the side, tried himself and blew a layup.

but the rox are all hollywood players out there, falling left and right, from Scola, Battier to Anderson and refs are giving them the calls :(

I'm surprised Gentry substituted Dragic in for Nash on the last Rockets possession. :)

Aaron Brooks with the nice shot over Goran Dragic to end the half.
