Man it sure helps when you are playing the Eastern Conference!

The past two games the Suns have been lights out on offense. I don't know how much of that is the defense of the Cavs and Bucks but I like it.

It seems to me the guys have been very patient and are moving and passing very well. I also like that nobody (Marion) is forcing shots. It seem as though the Suns are starting to get used to each other and developing some continity on both offense and defense. I was disappointed in some of the doubleteams and rotations in the Minnesota game that really killed them down the stretch. In contrast against the Cavs and Bucks the defense was very active and the Suns looked very quick.

Overall I have been very encouraged the last two games. I think D'Antoni has done a good job of working the guys into a solid offensive system and (for now) the players are responding.

Pefect timing, now we have less of a chance to grab the #1 or #2 pick.

It appears the Suns will trade their pick unless its #1 or #2. They better hope Koby signs here during the offseason.

McDyess has already made public his desire to play with Jayson Kidd. Maybe, Kidd can help him reach his full potential of a wife abuser... Is McDyess married?

Ok I don't like Kidd but that comment was way left field come on.

I would rather see the team develop some continuity and confidence going into next season than tank like the Hawks. Screw the draft, It is not untill June, we can worry about that when the season is over.

I don't really care where we pick anyway. We will have a high draft pick regardless, I want to see some momentum and solid play over the players giving up to get a good draft pick.

The Suns were never really a threat to have the worst record. Washington, Atlanta, Orlando, and Chicago are all awful. Washinton has the talent to be a better team and Orlando has T-Mac, but the Suns would have to tank it to get more ping pong balls than these guys.

That being the case, it won't matter much either way unless the Suns get terribly hot and catch the Clippers who are only 3 games ahead of the Suns.

You need to take a look at the different teams records. If the the Suns had lost their last two games they would be 22-49.

Orlando 19-53
Chicago 20-51
Washington 22-48
Atlanta 22-49

It looks like the Phoenix Suns will probably end up #5-6 although anything can happen.

Don't forget that the Bobcats get the #4 pick no matter what, so the Suns are likely to end up in the #6-#7 range unless they get lucky.

Actually I am not sure it would make much difference whether the Suns were at #3 or #7 unless they fall in love with someone like Josh Smith or Livingston. All the big men are projects and do not deserve to be taken that early. None of the college outside guys ranked that high can shoot and/or are short.
