Oh god, i thought this was a recycled thread from a previous year. This move makes no sense, even if we are sending out a guard in a proposed trade.

He wanted to hire Price as a coach, but Ronnie wanted to give playing another go. But he ended up being waived. This might be just a way of letting him finish the season as a player and join the coaching staff in the summer.

It's really no big deal. 15th man stuff.

BTW. The Suns need are $3.8 million below the salary floor. So signing Price costs them nothing but gives him a nice paycheck. Call it a coaching signing bonus.

This makes no sense. If they were signing him as a precursor to offering a coaching position, why sign him to a 10-day? Why not just sign him outright?
