The only Suns player worse than Ariza tonight was Booker. He has quit on the team.

Kokoskov needs to follow two simple principles:

1. Play the guys who play hard, no matter who they are.
2. Don't play Trevor Ariza ever.

Those two strategies would be enough to make the team 10-12 points better per game. It may not be enough to compete, but it would be a start.

Game 78 and Igor will still be trying to find the right combination

Here's some hints in case he wants some help:

Ariza is not part of the right combination.

Anderson is not part of the right combination.

Canaan is not part of the right combination.

Most of the players on the Suns are not part of the right combination.

That would be newly signed Kemba Walker, Devin Booker, Mikal Bridges, newly drafted Zion Williamson and Deandre Ayton with Holmes, Warren, Okobo and whoever coming off the bench.

Team has enough talent to be competitive in most games. They don’t look any different than when Watson was the coach. We should be better. At least I expect better

Couldn't agree more... Even without a PG and PF - we should be competitive against most of the league... and we're not. Should we assume that, against an OKC missing Westbrook, we didn't lose by 20, is progress? I'm dying to see improvement, anywhere and from anyone... Just don't see it...

That is really to good to be true, even if technically possible.

Here are some encouraging words from Ayton not that he is the Suns problem.

Honestly, it's not fair to Ayton, but we need him to play like Shaq in his rookie year for this team to have any chance at winning games. Ayton has to be a force down low so Booker isn't doubled all game. Ayton has to have the motor of Holmes when he plays, and the power of shaq inside to foul out other guys. Be the bully, instead of the bullied. Adams had his number tonight.

Wow. I'm shocked, I just don't understand how anyone could expect this group to be regularly competitive? Ayton will be very good but right now he's near the bottom of the league at his position. Booker is going to be great too, I believe, but right now with his defense he's not much better than average at his spot and that's when he's not actually playing out of position. Warren at the 3 is close to average and then we have the worst starting point guard and the worst starting power forward in the game and they are all supported by what appears to be the worst bench in decades.

I think you are underrating Ayton, Booker, and Warren, but you are right on everything else. Outside of those guys, only Bridges and occasionally Crawford look like something that resembles real NBA players.
