This team needs to learn how to sustain big leads in a hurry. We've pissed away two games in the last week due to napping on 10+ point leads.
And we almost blew 2 other games as well (the game against the Magic and the game against the Spurs).

I quickly changed the channel. I have no desire to hear what ******* Barkley has to say about this.

First time we lose this season while leading after 3. 6 straight road loses for the first time during the current Nash era. Another double digit lead blown. Absolutely horrible 4th quarter defensively and offensively. Can't wait to hear the excuses tonight.

We are simply the worst at containing the hot hands. Bayless, Webster were hot, yet we kept give them the shots. that's where we lost the game.

I don't know what's worse, losing the game like this or anticipating the inevitable complaining from people on this board that we never traded for Jared Bayless.

Im not complaining although I would love to have Bayless on this time. Finally, Portland is utilizing him.

Bayless wouldn't play against the Suns if he were on the Suns, so how would it help?

Bayless didn't look that good defensively, which is where we lost the game. We have scorers.

Exactly, i don't know why anyone would say another guard is what we need. What we need is a defensive minded big.

Nash needs to stop waiting so long to try to take over the game. :(

Amare is averaging 20.0ppg 10.4rpg 36mpg this month...

He is close to getting back to his best days. You would really want to let him go for nothing?

Too bad Dragic can't make a layup and we can't get a rebound on Bayless' last miss, if we do either we likely win.

A few things I got from this game...

-the refs were "decent" (compared to other Suns games played this year.)
- Amare Stoudemire cant make a 10 foot jumper
- Steve Nash is brilliant in clutch. (Like we didnt know that)
- Gentry is a good coach, but needs mroe experience. IMO. (e.g Taking Stoudemire out of the game and putting Lou in.)
- Lou Amundsen forgot how to box-out on Martell Webster.
- We REALLY REALLY miss J-Rich and Barbosa.
- Suns suck at protecting a lead.

90% of the players in the NBA don't play defense. I'm glad Bayless is showing Portland what he can do. I hope he finds a team where he can get minutes. The Knicks would be a perfect team for him. He wouldn't have to worry about playing defense.:)

Amare can't make a 10 foot jumper? It was falling until the 4th.

We knew this team was going to be Jekyll and Hyde this season. This teams hot start with the exception of a few games was against some pretty weak teams.

Our record against division leaders isn't that great. We have now gone 3-6 in the last nine games as well. This is just this team coming back down to earth. I expect the entire season to go like this. Win the occasional game against a good team, beat up on crappy teams and lose a bunch to average to slightly above average teams.

We probably won't see alot of streaks winning or losing. My guess is that we will see alot of .500 basketball until we hit easy parts of the schedule. The Suns should make up for losses to the good teams during those parts of the schedule.

I said it before, this team is not as good as it's record. If we start beating division leaders on a regular basis, I might change my tune.
