Says he hasn't been in a practice facility as nice around league.

Dario Saric and Jevon Carter are described as "culture drivers."

Who says the Suns aren't going to be a "chirping" team.

What’s the orange arc on the "Valley" court? I’m guessing the other arc is the NBA 3?

The sunburst court looks like it has the NBA 3 and WNBA 3.

Very astute observation. I wish there was a better picture to show perspective. You have me guessing about it as well.

Could the orange arc on The Valley Court be in preparation for a 4-point line?

The 4 pointer occurred to me. I also thought that maybe it’s possible that studies have shown an insignificant drop in shooting percentage up to a particular range represented by that line and if you train to that line it’s a more open shot.

This could well be the case. Some players like Trae Young regularly take the deep 3-pointer.

Also I think the 4-point shot being introduced to the NBA is not far away.

Dario Saric says he is good playing the four or five and coming off the bench. He just wants to win. This is exactly what you want to hear from a player.

Also another reason why we got rid of Oubre. And the fact that he had a hard time passing once he got the ball.

I never like losing quality talent. Hopefully the Suns have improved this off season in other areas.

Mikal--Ortg--119, Drtg--110
Oubre--Ortg--109, Drtg--110
Saric--Ortg--114, Drtg--112
Cam--Ortg--117, Drtg--113

Oubre had the lowest offensive rating among all those players--offensive flow was the issue. I like Oubre, but we had better options on our roster.

We did not let him go for nothing. I would have loved to keep Rubio, he was a net positive in offensive and defensive rating. Rubio made the offense flow. Oubre, as exciting as he was and as good as his numbers were, stymied team offense.

In the end we traded Rubio and Oubre for Chris Paul. BTW.

Chris Paul--Ortg--120, Drtg--108.

If he can stay healthy . . .

This is the key to the trade. If Paul can stay healthy and helps to improve the other players like Ayton it will be a good trade. The Suns will also need his contract to help re-sign Bridges and Ayton when it expires.

As much as I like Oubre, it was harder in my mind to justify the trade of Rubio. I had visions of keeping him until his contract expired and re-signing him to a lower priced contract. Rubio is still relatively young at 30.
