can someone ban this troll? 6 posts in this thread all with the same purpose of trolling and no contribution.

Bledsoe had a poor game by his standard but it did not help the Suns could not make an outside shot in the first half and Green fouling Kevin Martin on every play down the line.

I've contributed plenty. Calm down. I'm voicing my frustrations over the front office, if it rubs you the wrong way you can use the ignore feature son.

It's funny that we have such a young team and yet it's actually the veteran players who have been in this league for a long time in Gerald Green and PJ Tucker who make the low iq plays.

6 assists/ 4 turnovers is what the front office has decided to hitch their wagon to as the point guard of the future.

He's making 14 million a year now, he can't afford to have "off" games. Especially considering we traded away the best player to "give him the keys".

There's a switch

I know it's a temporary rotation after the trade, but the Suns closed the game (except for the last few seconds) with Len, Kieff, Marcus, PJ and Bledsoe.

One Guard. I smiled.

If only our Guard was a real Point Guard.

I feel that if Bledsoe had Point Guard skills, we would have won the game.

Even on nights when he gets some assists, he just doesn't make the other players on the court better.

Is that a fair evaluation?

He did not have an off game, it was just below his standard and any guard has those especially when your teammates can't make shots for an entire half.

6 assists 4 turnover nights are nothing special, every PG has those

Also your "best player"

@GSW 7 turnovers 2 assists
DET 6 turnovers 5 assists
Orl 5 turnovers 4 assists
@Tor 4 turnovers 4 assists
MEM 4 turnovers 4 assists
@Sac 4turnovers 5 assists

just from this season alone and he did not even handle the ball much or attack the basket

Just started watching the game, almost done with the first quarter. Bledsoe was frustrating to watch. He has no pg skills at all. He's still in ISO mode while everyone else was moving the ball.

What makes us so special? Don't most starting power forwards rebound in single digits? But regardless, a 29/4 player is far more valuable than a 17/10 player.

Steve
Disagree. To me a rebound is worth just as much as 2 points. Having low post players that refuse to put in the effort to control the boards on a guard oriented team is no Bueno. This isn't the d'antoni big men that were told not to box out.

You're probably right, I really should have said defensive rebound. An offensive rebound probably is worth 2 points and maybe even more given how often a foul is called on put backs. But a power forward that plays 15 feet from the basket and beyond isn't going to get a lot of offensive rebounds. Markieff really should be pulling down something like 7 defensive boards and 1 offensive rebound and it's disappointing that he isn't. But if he's putting up 29 points per game (and that was the hypothetical), that more than offsets the loss of those boards.

I don't even care how many boards he pulls down as long as he blocks out his man and isn;t forced to play out of position.

Seriously? You took every opportunity to tell us how much Dragic sucks over the past 24 hours, flying into every thread looking to inflame. And now you're crying foul when your boy craps the bed?

I don't even care about wins and losses anymore, I just want to see Goodwin and Warren get quality playing time like they did today.

I can see why Goodwin demanded a trade earlier in the season, this kid deserves playing time he's proving it on the court more than idiots like Gerald Green who are a complete liability defensively and one trick pony offensively. And he isn't even that good at the one trick which is shooting.

What's the big deal we played short handed without pieces we've had all season and working different lineups and was still very competitive considering the long cold spells shooting. It should get better as the new team will learn to play together.

ESPN's Amin Elhassan taking shots at McD for saying Bledsoe and Kieff are the best Suns players, not Dragic

https://twitter.com/AminESPN/status/568977457933631488

I had no problem with that comment. It was in defense of the team when they were basically challenged by a reporter for trading away the best player on the team. What I didn't like was the other comment that's been discussed here. It's one thing to support your players, he had no need to proclaim that Knight was the best player coming or going. Even if he believed it, he should have just kept quiet. He sounded like a cheerleader when he made the comment that Amin is overreacting to, he sounded like a scorned lover with the other one though.

I'm kinda confused, are you saying you didn't like McD's comment or Amin's comment?

I never pay any attention to Amin, we all know he has an axe to grind. But there were two comments made in that presser about the best player. The one where a reporter asks them about trading away the best player on the team I had no problem with. When he answered back in support of Bledsoe and Markieff, that was understandable AFAIC. He was just supporting his players.

But when he offered up the statement that Knight was the best player coming or going in those trades, that was a dig at Goran and it was out of line. And that's also the comment that Grant Hill responded to. But I'll point out that most of the people taking shots right now (including Grant Hill) are taking shots at sound bytes, they didn't actually watch the conference.

Did you watch McD on Gambo's show? There was an even bigger dig at Goran, you can hear it yourself on the link

He said

"I guess I'll put it this way," McDonough said. "There are some players who look at whatever is best for the team and are willing to sacrifice and are willing to play any role asked as long as it leads to winning -- and a guy like P.J. Tucker comes to mind in that regard.

"And then there are other players who would like to win but that win if it's on their terms and they can play the role they want and get their touches and get money -- get the most money at the end of the day. That's what's most important to him. I just wish guys would say that, just tell the truth and say that instead of saying we're liars and dishonest."

Been ringing this bell all season... Bledsoe has been a disappointment, period. Last night was yet another example of him falling way short, particularly in crunch time. He is very poor outside shooter (no threat there at all), his passing is mediocre at best and often delivers the ball in very awkward positions for whomever is receiving the ball... And he makes stupid plays and doesn't execute late in games. And for this, he making $14 million and guaranteed $70 million... I really want to see him flourish, but the gap between where he is and where we need him to be is huge, and frankly, I'm not at all certain he will get there... Man I hope I'm wrong...

I actually feel really good about this Loss. I saw signs that the team has improved its chemistry + team-attitude. I also had the sense the T-Wolves just played really well - They seemed to be hitting their shots and seemed re-energized coming out of the break (or maybe from the KG trade) ...

Then considering it's the 1st game back for Len in 2 weeks+, Goodwin/Warren's 1st real minutes, and Knight not playing, the Suns battled.

I still think the Suns can make the PO's. I would feel much better if they signed another big guy like Robinson though.
