Can you do one like the purple one you did, only using black wherever you currently have purple and using purple wherever you currently have orange? Try that!

Naw, I don't really like the 90's era jersey. The sun bursting across the shirt is too busy. A mistake that a few teams made in that decade. Less is more IMO.

Love the take on the jerseys. I agree though a black one needs to be in the mix for any redesign they do. I miss the black jerseys.

If they go retro it should be like the 1990's jerseys and not the older ones though. The older ones are too "old west" and feel a little cheesy to me. Probably because I grew up looking at the ones from the 1990's.

You sir (or ma'am) have horrible, horrible taste. Black is the most overdone look in sports, and the 90s Suns uni's while not as bad as the 90s Pistons, Cavs, Grizzlies, Raptors, et cetera, were pretty busy and awful. The only reason they aren't totally panned I think is because the other uni's of the era were so bad, and because we all have fond memories of those Barkley teams.

The western font isn't 'cheesy' its reflective of Phoenix's history, and its unique, something we should be proud of.

You aren't the first and won't be the last to tell me I have horrible taste and probably won't be the last. I don't think you can put the Suns jerseys with the Pistons, Grizz or Raports of the time. Yes they are a little dated but they were sharp looking and could easily be updated to be popular once again. I'll give you that the font wasn't cheesy but the burst on the shorts was. As long as they stayed away from those and also the shortness of the shorts i'd be ok.

I really do love the design on the jerseys at the beginning of the post. I would love to see them on the court as long as the white one doesn't make the cut. It reminds me too much of the Lakers whites.

they should do MODERN jerseys... lets teh 60s stay in the 60s and teh 90s stay in the 90s. by the way, what is the decade of 2010-2019 going to be called? the ones??

I'm with HooverDam and chickenhead. The classic uniforms with western style fonts and sun burst on the shorts. Spell out Phoenix instead of PHX. Keep the same colours as the originals (home white and away purple) and maybe add an orange and a black edition for special nights.

The western font is awesome. The Suns should go back to these uniforms and say emphatically, "We own this town. We've always owned this town." Basketball is actually me least favorite of the four major sports, but the Suns are the team I've rooted for the longest.

I don't think its bad at all, but i think the sleek,modern uniform design lines kind of clash with the old school-ness of the Suns font.
