Kind of odd to waive him before preseason is over. Not that I'm complaining. He was a long shot, at best.

The Phoenix Suns made three roster moves on Tuesday, signing guards Adonis Arms and Saben Lee, while waiving guard Frank Jackson.

Suns have to be at 15 regular spots + 2 two way spots by Monday. Why add guys for one preseason game left? Does this signal in any way an impending Jae Crowder move? Puzzling. Sign two guys for a try out on Wednesday, essentially?

An interesting measurement, Saben Lee is 6'2" and has a 6'9" wingspan.

A couple of question marks are his shooting and strength.

However, he is only 23 and has time to improve. I'd like to think he has a chance to make the roster as a third or fourth point guard.

A lot may depend on if the Suns package current players in a trade.

To be honest I'm not sure I remember Frank Jackson even being on the team.
Im hoping for this:

This smacks of desperation (these guard moves) and don't like what they are seeing still out of the backup guard spots. At least they are trying something. Sounds like they are possibly more focused on getting a PF in return for Crowder or we would likely seeing similar moves at that spot.

Bogdonavich's injury scares me.

I don't think Atlanta would consider this move unless they were worried too.
