Charlotte is holding out for the best deal for sure, but in the end Bridges is going or staying where he wants.

No we don't have a shot unless both Denver and the Clippers suffer injuries.

Why do you think we have a shot when the likes of Indiana, Orlando, and Atlanta just beat us in the last 7 games? None of those teams are top tier.

I will agree our offense has been looking better as of late, but our lack of rebounding and weak D means we have to be out of this world good on O to make up for it.
Nuggets lost to utah and Orlando in last month?

Guessing he gave them a list of teams that he is willing to go to and they are working for the best deal from those teams? I don't think him staying is even relatively an option for them as they get absolutely nothing as he leaves in the offseason.

Just whooped Luka in his own playpen
Unfortunately, this response kinda makes my point. The impressive win over “good” teams is… the Mavs, an 8 seed who’s only 3 games over .500.

When you’re pointing to that game as proof of beating good teams, it signals the Suns are pretenders, not contenders. It’s why I kinda hate that the Mavs are our rivals. When your rival isn’t a title contender, neither are you.

I think staying is a possibility because only Charlotte has his bird rights. Any team who trades for him doesn't. I'm not sure if they can facilitate a sign and trade this summer or not though.

Ok screw it. Bring in Bridges. I hate saying that, but we're clearly a notch or two from being legit contenders.

Is this true? I believe they lost his bird rights the moment he signed the QO?

Edit: Just looked it up and Charlotte does have them. That being said it is only beneficial to them if they plan to keep him going forward. It doesn't seem like they do.

Qualifying offers create weird rules for the year the player is on that deal. It rarely happens so it's not discussed often.

From a pure basketball standpoint it is a complete no brainer, especially if he isn't likely to miss a huge amount of time to suspension.

In twitter world, supposedly the lawyer would ask for a continuance of the hearing.

Has that been established? I thought I heard some commentators saying the league could bring down the hammer again. Then it makes absolutely no sense from a basketball standpoint either.

He has another court date at the end of the month for the smashing up the car with billiard balls with kids inside thing.

The NBA doesn't step in until the courts have a say, so if he gets slapped for violating the protective order (which it sounds like he did) then he will almost certainly get another lengthy suspension.

I would think the only way he gets off is if his ex doesn't cooperate with the charges.

I would imagine if the Suns traded for him than he likely isn't seeing much of a suspension this year. Maybe the belief is that he will likely avoid any suspensions until next season.

Nuggets are on cruise control same as last regular season. They will turn it up come playoff time. The Suns don't have another level they can turn it up to, because they don't have enough experience together, and they don't have enough legitimate rotation players.

That would be worse than watching a wifebeater. Remember when Eubanks owned his clumsy ***.
It depends on the matchup. Drummond is much more useful in some matchups than Eubanks and far worse in others.

I don't think trading for him is a terrible idea as long as we are giving up very little. Lets put it this way, I think he is a little better than Biz.

I wouldn't mind Drummond as a 3rd Center. He's better than Eubanks and Azabuike on defense and the glass. He doesn't offer much offensively but throw him out there with the big 3 and Allen and he might be able to make mismatches pay inside while also feasting on offensive rebounds.
