Dude could break a finger nail and be out a month. What a disaster.
What are they supposed to say? Could be back quicker it’s an ankle and a freak injury not something he known for. At least I don’t think Beal has had many foot injuries, just terrible luck on a reckless close out and landed in a foot, when it rains it pours! The team has had poo luck all season so far need to change something up or this will be lost season before you know it.

Just incredibly bad luck. Pretty much anyone is going to be out for some time when rolling their ankle that badly.

Given the way he landed, I am surprised it is not worse. But is also makes me wonder about body control, which is a major factor in injuries. Some guys have spacial awareness and know how to avoid bodies around them, some don't.

Given that Beal seems to injure a new part of his body every few months during the last 5 years... I suspect he is really bad at avoid bad contact and bad landings.

Come on man, DiVincenzo undercut him.

It is extremely hard to concentrate on your shot as well as how and where you're landing.

It is an actual skill that guys work on. Curry used to have serious issues with it.

In any sport that involves contact, learning how to protect yourself is a huge asset.

Curry generally doesn't have that kind of lift on his shot either. Players like KD, Book and Beal tend to elevate when shooting over people and they have all sprained their ankles this year because of it. Beal was just unlucky that he came down as badly as he did. Don't personally think it was a skill issue.

What's a "few" weeks 3-4-5?

Timing isn't good, we have a tough stretch coming. So far the suns have won only two games against teams with a winning record.

I'd say he's out until the new year, at the soonest. I'm not expecting to hear a return date until January 1st or 2nd. That's when we'll know when he should be back, not when he'll return.

John Wall, Goran Dragic, and George Hill are the only free agent point guards available that I can think of. Each one of them is better than Bol Bol. I think Hill played for Frank in Indiana.

Maybe but they all suck and should not get nba minutes.

We need length on defense and players we can trust with the ball, we have decent shooting.

Don’t know if this guy checks those boxes, but… fingers crossed.

Looks like 6'4" with a long wingspan. Decent sized PG. Guy is younger than young. Only 22 with what looks like a lot of NBA experience already. Youngest guy on the roster now. Little is the second youngest guy.

You say that but all I hear when okogie plays is get him off the court because he can’t make an open 3. Really doubt this dude is better than okogie on D and hustle plays.

Okogie is one of only a few guys on this team with a positive plus minus, despite his awful shooting.

He drives me nuts but he is clearly the best defender on the roster.

I doubt this guy is better on D either but having someone who we can trust to dribble without giving the ball away would be a plus.

He's young but has experience, albeit not on winning teams. Was in OKC for 2 years and was in Charlotte before being waived this season. Who knows how it turns out but I can't hate on a Two-Way signing.

The Suns will have about 50 games to build continuity before the playoffs if all goes well with Bradley Beal.
