Tonight was a crapfest shootout. Maybe the extra rest last night wasn't good. Horrible shooting by a lot of players. I still give the lakers credit for opening the can of whoopass but tonight the Suns pretty much beat themselves.

Suns down 71-92 after the 3rd quarter. Suns shooting 37%, Lakers 57%.

Ok turning game off. Keep Clark in there to get some experience. Better luck next time. Get revenge on our court.

Just like that we get brought down to earth. We were never in this game even when the score was close. I know people are going to say we didn't shoot well but the Lakers have been staying at home on our shooters all night. Our bigs are acting like twigs again and when the shooting goes south, we knew this would happen.

This team has to have a lights out shooting night to beat this caliber of a team. It has to be a mistake free night or we have no shot. We just need to lick our wounds move on to the next game.

Here we go. It only takes one loss from the best team in the NBA to bring the doom and gloomers out.

Nothing doom and gloom about it. It was a shot of reality. The good news is that we know this team is better then many thought they would be and still have a good shot at making the playoffs if they continue to beat the lower tier teams.

Doom and Gloom would be if people went around saying this loss would spin the Suns into an abyss that they can't crawl out of and the team plays .500 basketball the rest of the way. That is doom and gloom.

Just a shot of reality and putting down the koolaid.

So many things can change throughout the season though. Injuries especially. The seeding is what the Suns must concentrate on. I don't even count the Suns out on winning the division, at least 100%. But if you think about the seeding and how well the western conference is, hypothetically speaking, say they get 2nd or 3rd seed, they won't see the lakers until later. And that's if they get to the WCF, goes for any team. So the seeding is going to be important and something to watch. The Suns have the right system to win a lot of games. Glad Shaq's gone.

Exactly, It is unbelievable. It kills me watching the Sun get killed like that without putting up any effort but what the heck, we are playing the champions. They aint champ for nothing.
Suddenly a team a lot of us hoped will make the 8th seed is suppose to beat the Lakers after playing two more games than them already this week..

You know what? Let's show Stat what discipline is all about - let Clark start the next game! I'm serious:

Stoudemire 21:54 2-15 8pts 5reb
Clark 19:25 5-9 10pts 8reb

Maybe he will see what this lack of effort will bring him, sure as hell no max. contract.

Funny reaction from Hill after Amundson scored to give the Suns 100 points. :)

lol no bandwagon for me. Suns just need to take this loss in stride. People act like the Lakers aren't the defending NBA Champs or something...

Suns are off to a crazy good (road heavy) start to the year and our only 2 losses in the first 10 games are to the Magic and the Lakers which Oh by the way, are the two teams from the finals last year.

This team is fun to watch and I'm excited about their potential!

GO SunS!

I wonder how you came to that weird conclusion. Amare took good shots. They just didn't go in, as with JRich and LB and other starters aside from Nash. Clark had his stats from garbage time. Calm down dude.

People just venting man. Tough loss against a division rival and someone we are aiming to knock off the mountain.

But as I stated before, we should be able to clip them on our court. Our guys just didnt put up the effort to win this game, whether it was a lack of desire or the fact that they were just physically tired

Suns looked a little too geeked up.

Too many missed layups and FTs and too many tunovers.

Bynum travels nearly every other time he has the ball.

Suns get knocked down, grabbed, and bumped repeatedly.

Ah well. It isn't like the Lakers favoritism is a new thing.
