Nice 4th quarter offensive meltdown again...Suns score only 14 points on 29% shooting.

Because for whatever reason, JRich thought it would be a good idea to jump.

i dont want to blame the loss on jrich but that was stupid of him.i mean, who cares if parker forces there, why are you coming to help shaq and leaving that guy

Why the hell can't this team win a game on national television for crying out loud?

Can we trade JRich back for Raja Bell? Yeah, I'll accept it just for Bell.

Great game. Bad ending. Never ever leave a 3 point shooter alone. Let them tie the game with a 2 pointer.

as much as i hate him, popovic is a great coach.he somehow finds surprise names like duncan, mason in the end.

and 30 games should be enough to judge porter,he s not a special coach,i dont rate him,he never surprised me in good way so far.he seems just average.

Well we certainly didn't bring in JRich for his defense. The fact that Amare couldn't score on Duncan with 5 fouls on three straight possessions didn't help matters either.

That's however exactly Amare has to work on, through failures. He should have made face-up moves which he is much better at.

Man, if that three rims out it's a whole different story from everyone.

Suns played good enough to win, the Spurs just hit one more shot in the end.

It happens.

The Suns are 2-4 against the Spurs in games where the winning margin is 5 points or less since the 2007-2008 season (including the playoffs) and 3-2 when the winning margin is more than 5 points. :(

If you go back and include the 2006-2007 season (including the playoffs) it gets even worse : 2-7 when the winning margin is 5 points or less and 6-5 when the winning margin is more than 5 points.

You know, it's almost a good thing that it didn't rim out. We shouldn't feel as if the Suns played well. They scored 14 in the fourth quarter. That's flat out terrible. If they had won, it would just be hiding serious flaws.

Now they know it's time to go back to the drawing board.

Yep, Spurs are good there.

That said, the Suns did make a shot to take the lead in the clutch. It was a great play, great execution.

Just the Spurs had time to get a good shot of their own, and Mason drilled it.

Even with the low scoring in the 4th quarter it was clear that the Suns controlled the Spurs throughout the entire game, and btw those last two possessions, the Spurs didn't do such a good job defending the Suns's last offensive play so don't go on and complain about the Suns's defense. Just to prove how Phoenix played better and morally should've won, check out the last two plays of the game. So in the end who cares, mason will be dealing coke on the streets about 5 years from now.

Also Merry Christmas

I didn't expect a Suns, Spurs game to end any differently.

The Suns played well enough to win, and they should have - it happens. Mental mistake by JRich by not switching to Mason.

ok, so if they wanted to work on Duncan with 5 fouls, why give it to Amare 3 straight times so he could miss? I thought it would be Shaq working on him.

man that was a great game, but we just gave the spurs to much time at the end and mason kills us with a 3 :( I let out a few f bombs when he hit that lol. But hopefully we get them in the playoffs and take them down that is all that matters in the nba. Good games by Amare expect missing those 3 crucial shots near the end of the game, and a great game by shaq.
