If James does got to Miami...we might have a very difficult choice come draft day...

At #8 we might have:

Benson
Brown
Pac Man
Rolle

Reports are quoting Saban as saying he has zero interest in James, presumably because of his contract or his knee reports don't say.

So even if they do want Surtain, it may not be for James it may be for a 2nd rounder since Miami doesn't have theirs?

We trade our 2nd to Indy, who then trades it to Miami for Surtan. THEN we trade LJ to Tampa for their second, and trade Thompson and Clement for 3rd or 4th round picks.

Then we draft Rolle in the first, Fabien Washington in the 2nd, and BPA from there.

That's actually what I was getting at, Surtain to the Colts doesn't mean it's for James it could be for a 2nd. And if we traded our 2nd for James, then the Colts could do that deal, get Surtain, still have a 2nd, and Miami gets back it's 2nd.

or Saban is just lying...why would a GM tell the truth before it happened?

Why would he say he has zero interest in a guy, then trade for him, and try to sign him to a cap friendly deal with Drew Rosenhaus? He could just say no comment, to say zero interest suggests he's telling the truth to me.
