Yeah, I was so bummed she was going, and then Janu saves the day...her sad existence on the island finally paid off!

What a great episode...

But was it me, or did that tall guy with the glasses put the idea in Janu's mind about laying down her torch? THat's what I heard at least...wonder if the rest of the tribe noticed.

Good for Stephanie, she deserves to be around...I hope the woman unite next week, and that she lasts until the end...if she does, there is no way no one votes for her to win the million.

Katie is a lazy pig.

She has a 6th grade social mentality and hasn't done crap for the tribe.

Karen is worthless as well.

But I would love to see Steph unite them and be the final 4 with Jen.

that would be great. Then Steph & Jemm could lather eachother up in baby oil & have pillow fights....

I thought Jeff did the jedi mind trick to Janu. I don't remember Ian saying much about it.....

Ian said "All she has to do is lay down her torch. No one is forcing her to stay here"

Then Janu made a face liek omg I can quit?!?

Was great. I think Steph is starting to wear down emotionally though. She has been through a lot.

ok I must've missed that. (trying to watch a show w/a 3-yr old you miss some things) I still liked Jeff taking it & going with it. Steph is a trooper. I hope she turns the girls against the guys. I think she wouldn't have if she wasn't on the chopping block, but I think they pissed her off. If she can pull this off, she'll go down as the best of all time.

Ian said it, but it was definately Jeff that ran with it. He really influenced her. I hate it when he does that--it's only been a couple of times, but does influence the game every once in a while. I don't think that's right.

I'll bet Rob Burnett took Jeff aside before tribal council and said "do what you can to get them to keep Steph, mate." Steph is so much better for ratings it's not even funny.

Don’t get me wrong I am a Steph fan but I think the producer made this happen. Ian did start it by saying that Jannu could lay down her torch but then Jeff ran with it. He kept the conversation going that direction until she finally came out and did it. At any time he could have changed the direction of the outcome by his questioning but he just kept adding fuel to the fire. Or he could have stopped it by saying it was time to vote. The only other times someone quit on the show Jeff tried his hardest to talk them into staying but this time as soon as Jannu mentioned it he was like, OK bring me your torch.

I know everyone wants to blame it on conspiracy...but Jeff hass always done this. If he finds something out about someone, he presses...that's his job.

Maybe Mark Burnett did say something, but I think sometimes Jeff just digs like someone doing an interview...

Jeff has always done the knife turning thing, this time it just seemed more deliberate.

I was really glad that Stephanie didn't have to leave. It is fun to finally watch a woman play the game tough. If she does manage to unite the women who do they target first?

Tom or Gregg?

My choice would be Tom, but that is just because I can't stand him. Not that it really matters because if she can get rid of either one she will probably be able to run with it.

I think Jeff ran with it cause 1. he likes and admires Steph and 2. he knows the show is better with her on it. Either way, I'm glad she managed to stick around. Katie sucks and Janu was a wacko.

From the sound of last night's previews for next week, it sounds like Tom will have to continue his Colby-esque run of winning immunity of he could be in trouble.

I hope it comes down to he and Steph at the end because they are the two most deserving people. Of course, that just means that neither of them will actually win!

I agree to a point. If you remember, when Janu quit 6 minutes into the immunity challenge Jeff was pretty brutal about how quickly she'd quit, he really does get offended with so many people trying to get on that show when someone gets on and doesn't compete, it pisses him off.

Even in the earlier reward challenge when Janu and the other girl weren't helping Jeff called them out, and continued to do so until Janu started helping. I think he takes it personally when someone just tries to coast like that, especially with someone like Steph working so hard every competition.

He absolutely talked Janu into quitting though.

For some odd reason I get the feeling that the whole Janu quitting deal was worked out when she was abandoned on the other island. For a woman that could do nothing for herself she sure was happy coming off that island. Money can make people happy. Steph gets ratings, Janu does not.

Conspiracy theorists unite! lol

I don't think so...if that ever got out, they'd be sued...or something.

I thought it was a normal reaction...she was on her own, away from people she couldn't stand...made a fire, and it felt good to her...

Came back to a bunch of insincere people who really couldn't care if she had a good time or not, and she knew it.

Come on Mike. Besides maybe Ian and Tom who in the tribe is even interesting? The remaining 3 chicks are just their. The little blonde is easy on the eyes, thats about the only thing she has going for her. The love affair angle did not even pick up any steam like it did in previous shows. Greg is he boring or what.

What better way to gain a little interest in some of these other folks than to have the show star stick around for a little longer and rally the troops.

SPOILERS >>>>>>>>>>

Well, Steph is gone. She played one helluva game and I'm sure she'll get a ton of endorsement deals from this. I want Katie gone next. She is so freaking annoying.

Too bad she had to go...people were so worried about how good she was...she didn't win ONE DANG CHALLENGE after getting to Koror...

Anyways, going to be interesting...Katie is stirring things up...

Caryn is a fool....no concept for strategy....i love these people who just thank guys like Tom for keeping them in the game.

How about doing something yourself for a change? lol

With Steph gone you better not vote out the cute blonde. She is the last eye candy left.

She was kind of starting to get on my nerves any way... Not too mention her forehead was really breaking out, and on the big screen it was beginning to make me a little squimish...
