I used to love Survivor but this season i've only watched a few episodes and haven't been interested in it much. I did hate Shane though and am glad he is gone.

He's up there, but I'm not so sure about "the best." HE doesn't have a lot of physical competition right now (or since they've started competing for individual immunity, really). If Rob or COlby were competing against him I'm not so sure he'd be undefeated.

But, to be certain, he IS a very strong physical threat combined with a good head on his shoulders.

I just don't think he's without his flaws--for instance, he could be better in his influence tactics. He said it himself last week: it's 5 times now he's failed to get numbers on his side. With the way he's winning immunities, you'd think people would be lining up to hitch thier wagons to his star. That should be an easy sell.

I think he wins the whole thing, but it's no slam dunk. The other tribe makes up most of the jury and there is definately a part of human nature that resents a perennial winner (look at the backlash to Leinart this year, or the Patriots the last couple of years)--and Terry isn't being as humble as he should be, IMO.

I agree. I think people will be ticked at whoever goes against Terry in the final two. Terry (if he gets to the final two) will have Austin and Sally's votes. He might get Bruce's vote. I think he gets Shane's vote, since Shane got screwed last week. That's four right there. I think he can win it.

exactly. anyone who will be against terry will have gotten there by pissing off people. terry, on the other hand, won't leave people feeling betrayed.

Everybody hates Terry. He's acted arrogant. He is not winning the million dollars. Whoever he faces in the final two, slam dunks him.

BTW--I love Terry......but I've been accused of being arrogant before.

I don't know about that. Could go either way.

I could definately see Shane giving him his vote. Cerie, too. Not Aras. But maybe Danielle.

I don't think he's terribly well-liked, but mostly because he's a fly in their ointment. When they step back and look at how he's played--never screwing anyone and kicking arse in the challenges--I think some of the angst will slip away considering a lot of these folks got their throats slashed by tribe members.

But, then again, it does seem to have been a tight tribe. So, who knows.

I agree...Colby was much better liked, and he didn't win Survivor.

Terry is already a millionaire......He might be the most popular Survivor since Rupert. He'll get endorsements from this.

Also, don't forget Terry has the curse of the Car.

My breakdown so far:

Austin--overpromised, underdelivered. He made it sound like that if they voted Austin out, he'd slip him the Idol. I don't know if you can even do that or not.....but if I was Austin I'd be like...."wtf?? dude lied to me."

Sally--see Austin.

Bruce--no reason to be sore at any member of Casaya. My bet is he votes for a Casaya member.

Courtney--a total whacko. Who knows. She was pretty steamed.....but she should have seen it coming, she was just a pawn.

Shane--he's probably fuming right now. Don't know how he'll vote....the most vocally annoyed by Terry's gloating.

Danielle and Aras are probably pretty heavy Casaya voters....no matter what.

Cirie and Terry are my final 2. Cirie played in the background, and didn't make much noise. My bet is she takes it.

Watched the finale with my in-laws. My sister-in-law sings in a choral group with Aras' mom.

Cool.

I think Danielle should have lost that last challenge. She would have gone to the final two either way and maybe she could have gotten the loser's vote. Either way though she would have lost.

Another season down and another million awarded, along with some sage tax advice from Jeff Probst.

Aras played a strong game earning the respect of rival Terry and face it Danielle really had no way to win though I'd like to know what kind of conversation Danielle and Aras had before the final challenge that made him jump off his lily pad after a simple nod. Those final endurance challenges can be so dull but the editors did a good job catching and magnifying every wiggle.

All the stops were pulled out for the "fallen comrades" moment. The huge skull bonfire was pretty cool to watch. Terry's torch was finally snuffed and in the end, the Casaya bonds held tight as one of the strongest alliances in the history of the show. How cool would it have been to see Terry and Aras in the final? They truly have been two of the best competitors on Survivor.

Aras' misfortune now adds a whole new rule to the unofficial guidebook — do not guzzle down a mimosa and then go traipsing along slippery rocks. I swear we've seen more of the medical team this season than some of the tribe members. Those gashes did look painful, but a million bucks can buy lots of iodine and the sight of the intrepid yoga-boy all bandaged up could only evoke the sympathy. Honestly, I was expecting more fireworks from the jury, but instead we got Courtney babbling about the "sea of forgiveness" and becoming a bird.

I was also waiting for that silly moment with Jeff flying to the reunion show in a helicopter, or paragliding in, or whatever, but alas, he just sauntered in without fanfare. It was great to see Cirie's win the truck, she has been an inspiration to all us armchair Survivors. I was also glad to see Bruce is healthy, Tina is coming to terms with her loss and Shane isn't as crazy as he seemed, but I still didn't learn much about any of the others. Props to Aras, the winner with the most high-maintenance hair in all 12 seasons of Survivor, now on to the Cook Islands!

I see this WAY different than you, Angel. I thought right away that Dannielle should use his medical "emergency" to her advantage.

I'd have said something like--"Aras looked like he was going to walk in here tonight as the ultimate survivor--but the truth of the matter is you have to survive 40 days out here, not just 39. The show had to interviene in order for Aras to be able to be here tonight. I didn't have any such survival problems." ...or something like that.

I think it's BS that Aras had medical intervention on a show called survivor and was allowed to stay.

That said, aside from Terry, he played the best game.

And I agree with you especially on an episode where another tribe member had a medical intervention and had to be removed without benefit of the vote.

But as watchers of Survivor we both know that the final tribal council has rarely been about "surviving", though it didn't surprise me much that Danielle did not take advantage of the incident she was wishey washy throughout the entire season, and was only there because of the "outwit" skills of others.

The Aras/Terry rivalry was amazing. Started getting a little nasty at the end, when Terry straight out shoved Aras in that Carabiner Reward Challenge.

I hope they do another AllStars soon....I'd like to see Terry/Aras go after each other again. I'd like to see how Terry'd fair against the Ethans and Colbys of Survivor history.

I wonder if Danielle is ticked about not getting the million and tempted to do a Playboy shoot?
