(Just a little something I put together near mid-April while the Suns were mad in the race for the 8th spot - most, not all, of the edits were done by others, but the presentation, including the music synching, is all mine. ;)

Thought this might help provide a little salve for the dog days - video description is below)

A rookie General Manager, a rookie head coach and 10 new players to open the 2013-2014 season for the Phoenix Suns.

Coming off a pitiful 25-57 campaign for a 2012-2013 season that saw little more than mass turmoil and heaps of condescension both on the floor and behind the scenes (yeah, I'm looking right at you Lance "Hatchet" Blanks - no juju for you, ever), nearly every expert chose the Suns to drop to 29th out of 30 teams in the NBA, better only than the Philadelphia 76ers - with a team of perceived castoffs and nothing but hope for gathering lottery balls, a funny thing happened on the way to October 30th, 2013:

This team didn't believe the lack of hype - and now, as the season draws to a close, the Suns stand at 47-31 and sole possession of the 7th seed in the west. That's playoffs, folks (and, as of this writing, Philadelphia does indeed stand as the 2nd worst team in the league with a sad 17-61 record) - and with only 1 game seperating spots 7-9 in the west, every single one of the 4 games left has major implications, but, I've got that feelin'. ;)

There may be financial issues in keeping this team fully intact while hunting down an impact free agent during the off-season, but this team has become a true band of brothers - right down to twins Markieff and Marcus Morris, the anchors of what may be the strongest bench in the league.

From rookie GM Ryan McDonough to rookie head coach Jeff "COY" Hornacek to the training staff to the "Dragonblade" backcourt of Goran Dragic & Eric Bledsoe to all-around badass P.J. Tucker to Miles "Born Again" Plumlee to Markieff & Marcus "Brother-to-Brother" Morris to Gerald "Revelation" Green to determined rookies Alex Len & Archie Goodwin to Ish "Dish" Smith and the versatile ultimate payback man in Dionte "Merry" Christmas - here's to you, fellas. :)

Very nice... I'll have to sit down later when I get time and finish it off. Good stuff, Swing.
